"Nick is an excellent handyman pro to hire for work inside and outside of the home. Nick patched and painted a ceiling for me. Nick fixed my 75 year old wooden door to the garage. Nick did excellent concrete repair for our seawall and steps. Nick rebuilt screens for our crawl space and the screens fit perfectly. There were other odd and ends that needed to be repaired in our house. Nick works extremely hard. I have a list started for the next time. Kim"

He responded to my request within an hour, we texted on a Wednesday and he agreed to come by our home to inspect the damage the following Monday. "After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."

"I would like to say that we would use GF Company in the future.
The Positive:
 The sales representative, Ken Jr., was astounding.  His knowledge of his field was excellent and I enjoyed talking with him.  He was also very thorough with his estimate and writing down in great detail what we wanted to have done.  I hope we get him as our sales representative when it is time to do our roof or our windows.
The work was done exactly as Ken Jr. had written on the estimate.  For the most part the work matches the current look of the shed and it has already filled the water barrel.  
The Negatives:
It was difficult to communicate with GF Company.  We had originally received a quote from Rick a year before the work was done and we contacted GF Company many times to speak with him about getting the work done, but none of our phone calls were returned.  Finally we asked for someone new and we got Ken Jr. sent to us.
After we paid our half-down deposit, we were told that we would get a call in about three weeks to find a date for the work to be done.  After about 5 weeks we tried contacting GF Company.  One phone call had us speaking with a lady on the phone who said that someone would call us back soon, but that never happened.
We never received a call to tell us when the work would be done as we wanted to have someone home to make sure things were done to our specifications.  Several days after our phone call was not returned, we received a text message from our neighbor telling us that someone was doing work on our property, but my wife and I were both at work and by time we got home the work was done.  Since Ken Jr. did such a great job with writing down what we wanted, we did not have any issues with what was done.
It appears that one of the items created on site for our downspout on the shed was likely spray painted on site.  The paint job has already faded, but we can find some paint to paint it again.
Overall, it sounds like we had a bad experience, but we did not.  The work that was done was done well and the sales representative we worked with was very knowledgeable.  We would use GF Company again and recommend them, but encourage folks to have patience with communication.

From designing and constructing a custom enclosed shower built from custom pan through finish tiling, the workmanship was outstanding. Custom vanity build and install superb. They earned additional work of constructing a scratch-made barn door entry, and affixing a planked feature wall in bedroom that is simply flawless. The business management and communications were terrific including adhering to original quotation, full materials cost detailing, scheduling and delivery and precise invoice documentation. We experienced some delays around the holidays, but they made up for such with extra hour efforts and gratis finish work beyond original work order. Meghan and Judson deliver the full package of professional contract performance from admin to execution, and do so in a friendly and customer-accommodating fashion.
