"They came out on a Sunday and it was Motherâ s Day and worked. Not many other companies would do this. They were very professional and explained what they were going to do. I would hire them again!"

"Emlyn and his assistant Johnmark Were asked to remove a dying tree. The tree was 20 feet behind our garage and 10 feet from the neighbors' wooden fence. They trimmed the tree then felled the trunk without it touching either the garage or fence. The tree was about 45 feet tall. The stump was cut to ground level, they left some of the larger branches for fire wood (the wood was cut to 2 foot lengths and neatly piled.) The smaller branches were chipped and blown onto a garden where I wanted it. The trunk and very large branches were all removed, and the yard was cleaned of debris before they left. They estimated it would take 4 1/2 to 5 hours to complete, but they were totally done with the jobs in under 4 hours. I know now who I will call when I need another tree removal. I recommend them to anyone who needs tree removal. WAH"

"Mat did a wonderful job at laying out the system and installing it according to his design. He was on time and on budget. We had bids from another installer and Mat was right there on price and actually included a few things that were not on the other bid. I would not hesitate to have him do more work for me as he is as honest and sincere as they come. Glenn Griswold"

"Mark was so easy to work with and his crew was fantastic! They removed a lot of dead and down trees, cleaned up the brush, removed stumps & wood & added dirt where stumps were ground. Pines that were planted too close together and had many dead and dying areas were thinned and/or eliminated as needed. Mark & his Crew were able to save and trim trees to leave a nice looking wind break. They removed a lot of poplar trees at the edge of the woods that easily fell into the yard in the wind. These guys work VERY hard and are so helpful with suggestions. I won't hesitate to use their service again. Thank You, Mark and Crew!"

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

Always remove leaves from hardscapes and other lawn features. Leaves and other yard debris can become slippery and dangerous, and fallen leaves can discolor and stain materials like stone, brick, and concrete. Use a rake, brush, or leaf blower to remove leaves from hardscapes and prevent staining.

Yes, many companies recycle concrete, metal, and other materials to minimize landfill waste.

Removing leaves from your lawn and yard has a few benefits. Leaves that cover your lawn over the winter can block sunlight from reaching your lawn, smothering and even killing the grass. Leftover leaves in your yard can create bare patches that you’ll need to reseed in the spring to return the grass to its former glory. Hiring a leaf removal company can save you time and labor, especially if your lawn is large or you have a high density of trees dropping leaves in your yard.

Overall, artificial turf maintenance isn’t time- or labor-intensive, especially compared to natural lawns. To clean artificial grass, you can start by raking away any organic debris, like leaves and dirt, that have blown in from somewhere else. Then, break out the hose to take care of most messes that are left over.

Armadillos are attracted to water, so a leaky irrigation system or an overwatered lawn can encourage them to move in. They especially like wet areas where they can burrow and loose soil where they can dig for grubs. They are also attracted to dense ground cover, where they can often find food sources.
