With a select list of contacts (electricians/plumbers/hvac), most jobs can be completed with one phone call. We will start with a signed estimate and discuss payment at that point. Most projects I will invoice upon successful and satisfactory completion.

"It was excellent. All work was done properly. There were no long pause. He came when he said he was going to. There was a wood work that he did that we don't like and he redid it. His estimates were lower than the actual final cost. The reason why the estimate were low, some parts of the job changed after they were made."

Yes, you can replace or repair an undermount sink without removing and reinstalling the countertop. Start by shutting off the water to your home, then disconnect the drain. You’ll need a good understanding of kitchen plumbing (and the necessary tools) to remove the pipes. You’ll also have to cut through the silicone seal, then carefully lower the sink down from below.

If you’re not sure how to go about undermount sink repair, call in a countertop specialist or a plumber to handle the task.

Porcelain is a relatively affordable, mid-range countertop. It’s less expensive than other popular materials, including quartz, slate, concrete, and marble. It’s similar in price to the average, low-end or mid-range granite or quartzite countertop (high-end options cost more). It’s more expensive than laminate, acrylic, and ceramic.

However, note that porcelain doesn’t come with very many long-term maintenance costs. If it breaks, you’ll still need to make repairs, but it won’t need regular sealing like concrete and natural stone.

While no countertop material is truly “heatproof,” granite countertops are extremely resistant to high temperatures. Some types of granite can withstand temperatures up to 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. However, we don’t recommend placing hot pots and pans directly on granite countertops. Even if it doesn’t scar the granite, it may damage the sealant.
