"Aaron, Nathan, and their crew did a very thorough job with power washing our house and fence, caulking, and prep-work. They did a meticulous job painting the house and staining the fence. The team was costumer focused. We had a very positive experience with Priceless Painting Contractors."

"The people at Classic Finishes were professional and flexible. I had a short time frame to get my new home painted after the closing, but before moving in, and the were able to accommodate that. They were friendly and helpful, and their work was not only quick, but more importantly, it was very well done! I couldnâ t be happier!"

"Jake was hired by my landlord to paint our entire building, including my restaurant. He did a really good job painting, including realizing there was brick and Foundation damage. He contacted the landlord who contacted the contractor and had another company come out and fix the bricks and Foundation, so he could then finish his painting. He did a very good job and a very thorough job in a quick amount of time so that my restaurant did not have to close down for two many hours or days"

"Jerry's Painting team was outstanding and professional. Communication was great, choosing colors was easy. I changed my mind last minute on the stain for our porch. The company worked seamisly to make sure our home was exactly as we envisioned. Careful attention to detail was given. We would recommend this company 5 out of 5 stars."

"Took the time to discuss all aspects of the project. On-time. Professional. Efficient. Detail oriented. We were very happy with the job done. Hired for a second project that was done to our complete satisfaction (paint and stain). Would highly recommend this company."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Painting a damaged pool deck is not recommended if the substrate is crumbling, cracking, spalling, or otherwise actively deteriorating. Continuing deterioration will result in the paint also delaminating or flaking off the damaged surface. Minor damage such as chips or hairline cracks that are not actively deteriorating can often be repaired enough to paint over. A damaged pool deck with a lot of cracking and deterioration should be replaced for best results.

Whether to paint or stain a deck depends on your personal preference for appearance and budget. Stain provides a natural look with a range of undertones, is typically less expensive, and may only require one coat, but it does not last as long as paint. Paint offers a sleeker finish with a virtually unlimited color palette. Both options will protect your deck from outdoor elements like rain, snow, and general wear and tear.

The best exterior paint for the job of painting your front porch depends on the material you’ll be painting. Acrylic paint is often recommended for a wooden porch as it’s durable and easy to apply. If your porch is made of concrete, you’ll need to find a formula suited to that material.

Liquid rubber is great for waterproofing, but it can damage your deck if it’s not applied correctly. First, it can trap moisture in the wood if the deck isn’t completely dry before application.  Second, applying it too thickly can create a heavy, rubbery surface layer that peels and cracks under fluctuating temperatures. For the best results, ensure the wood is completely dry before application, and apply the liquid rubber in thin, even coats. A quick inspection every now and then will help you catch any issues early, keeping your deck protected and looking its best.

You’ll need to wait until the surface is completely dry, which can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours under optimal conditions. The waiting period depends on several factors, including the type of siding and the weather conditions. Trying to paint before the surface is completely dry can trap moisture under the paint, leading to bubbling, blistering, and mold growth.
