"Ryan is a professional painter that takes pride in his work. Two areas were painted with attention to every detail. I'd hire him in a heartbeat for interior and exterior painting. Once completed, both areas looked great and both sites were totally cleaned. You can't find a nicer, more professional, hard working, attentive to detail artistic painter!"

"Worked through our house and fixed drywall that was damaged due to a water leak. Cut out the bad section and fixed the spot. Also fixed some cracking in the old drywall. He painted the hallway and 5 bedroom working around our beds and stuff we had in the rooms saving us time in moving everything to paint."

"Jerry's Painting team was outstanding and professional. Communication was great, choosing colors was easy. I changed my mind last minute on the stain for our porch. The company worked seamisly to make sure our home was exactly as we envisioned. Careful attention to detail was given. We would recommend this company 5 out of 5 stars."

Painting questions, answered by experts

DIY is possible but presents risks of uneven surfaces or improper adhesion; professionals offer expertise to ensure a lasting finish.

Yes, you can and should paint or stain pressure-treated wood, as this helps prevent the surface from cracking. However, it is crucial to wait for the wood to dry out completely from the chemical treatment process before applying a finish. If the wood is still wet, the paint will not adhere properly. The drying time can range from weeks to six months. To test if the wood is ready, drip some water onto a board. If the water is absorbed, the wood is dry enough for painting or staining. If the water beads up on the surface, it needs more time to dry. You can build with the wood while it's still wet, but you must wait for it to dry before painting.

You should repaint your fence every 1 to 3 years, depending on the appearance of wear and tear. Weather and usage will factor into how often you should paint another coat on your fence. If you need to replace a few fence boards or posts, you may want to consider repainting the fence to help protect the rest of the fence as well as the new pieces against damage and deterioration from being exposed to the elements.

Yes, many repair services include repainting to match the color of the existing siding or walls. Most professionals offer this service to ensure the repaired area blends in seamlessly.

The best finish for wrought iron railings is either a semi-gloss or a gloss sheen, as each offers good durability against rain, wind, heat, cold, and snow.
