ACS provides premium value based lawn care and landscape maintenance services to residential and commercial clientele. We offer a wide variety of services from mowing, fertilizing, weed control, mulching, and light landscape installation. We also maintain flower beds, prune and shape ornamental shrubs and bushes, and we offer seasonal color display services.

"I received an estimate from Joe Anderson, Anderson Custom Services, on April 29, 2019 for spring yard cleanup. A $150 deposit was requested in order to get a time slot. I sent $150. The agreement, in writing, was for 2-3 wks later to do the work. Joe never showed up, never did the work, and has refused to return the $150 deposit. I requested the refund starting May 29, 2019. I have called, left voicemail, texted, emailed. On June 23, 2019, he LIED and stated he cut the check. 3 wks later, I contacted him again. He LIED, stating ck was returned undeliverable. I had given him mailing address at least 3 times, & it was on the cashed ck. JOE ANDERSON IS A SCAM ARTIST. DO NOT EVER HIRE HIM FOR ANY WORK. He has taken other clients’ deposit monies and refused to return the funds. Ck on Better Bsns Bureau Wisconsin.... There are several other complaints with the same story. DO NOT USE ANDERSON CUSTOM SERVICES. HE IS A SCAM ARTIST and has stolen my $150. I have hired an attorney and will also be filing small claims. He has 2 other claims against him, also. JOE ANDERSON IS A SCAMMER."

The best fertilizer for thick Bermuda grass is an organic fertilizer with an N-P-K ratio high in nitrogen, low in phosphorus, and low in potassium. Organic fertilizers help Bermuda grass grow stronger and healthier by retaining water well, supporting microbiome life, and promoting long-term soil health. However, this type of fertilizer is more expensive than synthetic fertilizers. 

The best fertilizer for early spring is an organic slow-release fertilizer that sets up your lawn for continued good health and vigorous growth throughout the whole growing season. If your lawn is particularly neglected or has specific issues, you may need an application of quick-release fertilizer alongside a slow-release one for an immediate boost. 

If you apply too much fertilizer to your grass, it can take about three weeks to recover. If you still have dead patches after three weeks, it might be time to remove the dead grass and overseed the affected area. Since overfertilizing can also cause problems with fungus, leading to further damage to the grass, monitor your grass color and growth for one month after over fertilizing.

Some of the particular herbicides that work best to get rid of nut grass without killing the grass include Halosulfuron-methyl, mesotrione, sulfentrazone, and metsulfuron. A herbicide like glyphosate would kill nutgrass, but it will kill nearby plants, too.

While you may see some germination by simply tossing a handful of new seeds on a lawn, you'll have more success by following the proper reseeding or overseeding process step-by-step. Without properly tilling, mowing, amending the soil, and watering your lawn, the new seed could blow away or simply fail to take root.
