Some perks about this type of flooring: (1) The stairs have a great no-slip texture. (2) It looks much better than a plain epoxy or paint finish and easily as nice as the carpet we had previously. (3) The flake flooring in our basement is much warmer than I expected; certainly warmer than the ceramic tile we have in the bathroom. (4) Itâ s easy to take care of and the pattern in the flake doesnâ t show dust/dirt easily.
