"So I had Daniel S, do my TV mount in my room. I did have his contact information if I ever needed future projects. but I lost it!!!! And bummed out 😞 I also had a question for him, about the project that he did. But he did amazing work, fast easy. And he went and got a missing part that I needed, I'm glad he didn't walk away from doing it, he was so NICE! I would like to thank him again. God bless you"

After years of teaching and engineering, I turned my attention to the small home projects that often get pushed to the bottom of the to-do list. Whether it's assembling furniture, hanging shelves or TVs, installing fixtures, or tackling your honey-do list, I take pride in doing every job with precision, reliability, and attention to detail. My goal is simple: quality work, honest service, and leaving your home better than I found it.

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

If you want to enjoy your favorite movies from the comfort of your backyard or patio, you can mount a TV outside. You’ll want to be thoughtful about its location, ensuring it’s away from water and heat, like a grill or pool. Placing it under a roof, awning, or gazebo is usually a good idea as well for extra protection. Outdoor wiring does add an extra layer of complications with this project, so it may be worth it to hire an electrician to help.

As with any service provider, it’s customary to tip professional TV mounters after they complete your TV mounting service. Consider tipping 20% of the service cost, or $10 to $20 per professional. Tipping is always appreciated, especially for a labor-intensive mounting job or one that requires multiple people and hours.

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

Yes, many services include wall mounting for TVs or projectors. Confirm with your installer.

Coax cable connects to your television, modem, or cable box. Look for a female coax connection on these devices. Your coax cable will connect to any of these. The other end of the wire runs to the service connection coming into the house.
