I have worked for a friend who is a property manager in southeastern Wisconsin. She is a huge role model and have learned on site with her for 3 years. Will give her contact information upon request. I made mistakes, and she paid for them, so I will make you happy. The only bad mistake is the one you don't learn from. I have seen how much plumbing is in need, especially this time of year with burst pipes. There is such a need in this trade, I am confident with installation of kitchen sinks, faucets, bathroom faucets, vanities. Toilet repair and installation. Have all my tool, truck. would consider emergency jobs, for a premium. will be fair in price, but I'm also aware of market price. I will be honest and if I don't feel comfortable with, i have other work, i will pass.

"These windows are solid, well built and look great. I will be ordering more for my house."

Hurricane Film questions, answered by experts

Yes, most standard policies include storm damage repairs. Your policy may cover some or all of the repairs. The first thing to do after a storm is contact your home insurance agent. If you get any work done before the adjuster arrives, such as covering holes in your roof or windows, keep those receipts for reimbursement.

A hurricane can take down a house, but most well-built modern homes can withstand an average hurricane. Houses are more likely to fail during strong hurricanes and if they’re older, poorly built, or already have structural problems. Strong winds can blow off weak points like the roof and windows, giving the hurricane winds an opening to do more damage. Walls may also collapse under the force of high winds and pressure.

Solar panels can protect your roof from hail, as they can withstand hail up to 1 inch in diameter that falls up to 50 mph. Your solar panels may experience damage if the hailstones are bigger and travel faster. Your roof can still suffer hail damage, and it’s essential to look for signs and repair issues right away. Roof damage can lead to leaks and water damage inside your home.

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.

After a big storm, you may not be sure if a tree was struck or not. Look for the telltale long scars, like strips or gouges in the bark of the tree, running in sometimes jagged lines down the length of the trunk. These scars will often show vulnerable living wood inside the tree. It’s also common to see scorched or wilted leaves on the side or top of the tree where lightning struck.
