"It was a pleasure working with Concrete Lifting Technologies. Within only a few days of contacting them, they came out to view my property, and shortly afterwards emailed a quote. The cost to fix both my front sidewalk and the driveway slabs was very reasonable. The work itself was completed as scheduled approximately 2-1/2 weeks later (which includes a delay that I imposed myself). They raised the driveway slabs back up to the level of the garage floor so quickly that it was almost complete by the time I realized they had arrived at my home. Fixing the sidewalk that extends from the front porch was a much more difficult task. I'm guessing that the two gentlemen working on it spent a lot more time than they had expected. But they kept at it and the end result is wonderful. They did great work, without damaging anything, and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Very professsional!"

"Concrete was poured on time and within budget. However the concrete was overworked/over watered so it cracked in most of the slabs outside of the relief joints. It also has many chips called (palling) all over the driveway. Its only 2yrs old and looks like it needs to be redone. I had called them back and stated that this is normal but no one else's driveway in my area looks as bad as this. Then also said he would come back to seal the drive way but never did."

Poured concrete should be set and hard to the touch within 24 to 48 hours, although it depends on the humidity in the air, the thickness of the concrete, and the type of concrete. It’s best to leave concrete to set for three days before exposing to foot traffic or stress. Concrete takes between 20 and 30 days to cure and reach its peak strength, so for foundations and retaining walls, plan to wait about a month before placing any load on your concrete.

Yes—as long as the area has been properly prepped. Different self-leveling brands and compounds have their own specific instructions for preparation; some may require that you add primer or grind the surface. While you shouldn’t use thinset mortar on its own as a floor leveler, it can work alongside other products to help level floors. An easy way to cut concrete pavers without a saw is to use a hammer and chisel. You can make a few passes over your paver with a hammer and chisel to make a fissure where you want the paver to break. Once the divot is about 1/8 inch thick, drive the chisel hard into the center of the line to complete the cut without using a saw.
