"They were busy when I called to set up an Apt they were 3 weeks out for any work. But they called one week after I first called them in the morning at 830 am and said that they had a cancellation and could get me in that day. That was great that they called me to see if I was available that day instead of waiting an other 2 weeks. They were nice and very clean with their work."

"Elliot was very easy to work with. I appreciated that his quote was the price for his work. No additions. He listened to my concerns and about the work I wanted done. Would hire him again. He power washed house, cleaned roof, power washed the deck and washed the windows."

"Mario did a great job cleaning the ducts in our house and our dryer vent. The before and after pictures showed how dirty our vents were and how wonderfully clean they were when he was done. We just moved into our home and it is reassuring to know that everything is cleaned out now. I highly recommend Mario and his duct cleaning business!"

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Clearing snow from your roof can be a tedious and time-consuming job. Even so, it is extremely important to maintain your roof during the winter months. You can help prevent ice dams and avoid roof collapse.

As a side note, rather than shoveling your roof, you should always use a roof rake to modify the job. Otherwise, call in a professional.

To maintain a slate roof and prolong its lifespan, conduct regular inspections, ideally annually, or schedule professional inspections. Key maintenance includes cleaning gutters regularly, promptly replacing any broken or damaged tiles, and ensuring the flashing remains intact to prevent leaks. It is also recommended to remove overhanging tree branches and address minor issues as soon as they appear.

Regular cleaning, promptly repairing minor issues, ensuring proper drainage, and using rust-resistant coatings help prevent recurring damage.

Tile roofs, including clay, concrete, and slate, are considered low-maintenance materials that require fewer repairs and less care than many other roofing options.

  • Clay tiles require minimal maintenance. They stand up well to the elements and UV radiation, repel water, and do not easily stain, discolor, or fade in direct sunlight. Clay tiles do not need sealing. Maintenance is typically only required to replace cracked tiles, which can be caused by foot traffic, extreme weather, or fallen tree limbs.

  • Concrete tiles are also low-maintenance but require more upkeep than clay. They need to be sealed every few years to maintain water resistance, and their color tends to fade more quickly than clay.

Aside from these material-specific needs, general maintenance for tile roofs includes annual inspections, routine gutter cleaning, and addressing repairs as they arise. A well-maintained tile roof can provide 50 to 100 years or more of protection for your home.

Soft washing chemicals typically consist of a mix of sodium hypochlorite (or a chemical component of bleach) and water. While sodium hypochlorite and bleach are often thought to be the same thing, there is one small but key difference between the two: sodium hypochlorite comes in powdered rather than liquid form, which means that it’s also more concentrated and more effective from less product overall.
