"Service was excellent. Ray contacted me the day I put in my request, he was able to give me an estimate that same day. We have three large white cedar trees that are planted too close together and adjacent to power lines. They had never been trimmed (except the tops by WPS) and are over 40 years old. Nature had started reclaiming the space around and under these trees. Ray was able to trim them to shape, remove all of the dead branches and clean up the bottom, he removed all of the debris for no extra charge. He also cut down a large buckthorn and removed a ton of weeds and other invasive plants and a bonus dead lilac. Ray is a great guy to work with, he’s polite, and involves you in the decision making process. He also made sure to blow out and clean up afterwards. I would definitely have him come back. I’m happy and my neighbors are happy too. "

"We had an about 40 foot tree come down early on a Sunday morning. Zack answered my call right away, was here that morning and worked at one point through a torrential downpour to get the tree cut and cleared. Then was respectful enough to wait a few hours to remove the biggest tree stump parts so he wouldn't tear up my yard after the rainfall. Can't say enough good things about the job he did. Price was reasonable for an emergency Sunday job. I would definitely recommend him."

It can take anywhere from one month to a couple of years for tree roots to grow back in sewer lines. Tree roots can cause extreme havoc on your sewer lines, potentially cracking them and causing untreated wastewater to make its way into the groundwater. You may wonder whether tree removal is tax deductible: Tree removal is not tax-deductible for homeowners unless it's related to a federally declared disaster. In that case, the cost may qualify as a casualty loss. However, if you own a commercial property, like a rental home, tree removal could be deductible if it's necessary for safety, maintenance, or part of a larger capital improvement project, and you must hire a professional tree removal service and keep documentation. Always consult a tax professional beforehand to see if you qualify.

If it’s only a smaller branch that has died and you’re keeping an eye on the tree, it’s probably nothing to worry about. But if other nearby branches start dying off as well, or a very large branch dies, then you likely have a bigger problem. It is possible to cut down a tree on your property yourself, but we don’t recommend it. If the tree is short enough to easily reach the top branches, and the tree is far from power lines or structures, consider renting a chainsaw and removing it yourself. Trees that are larger than that, close to electrical lines, or close to fences, homes, sheds, or other structures should only ever be removed by professionals. Not only is the work dangerous, but you could damage structures on your property in the process.
