"Everything went very smoothly and the price seemed very competitive to other company deals. I would highly recommend. Emailed company for quote and had a response from Karen within 60 minutes with an approximate quote and answers to our questions. We set up an appointment with her as well. Company (Dave and Gage) arrived on time and were very professional/personable. Explained what we needed, which was a general carpet cleaning of the house. From there they did their measurements and gave us the quote. For for about 610 square feet and 12 steps it ended up being about $160 prior to the April special they were running. They had the work done in about 90 minutes and could tell the difference as the carpet was brighter/refreshed. Upon completion we paid the quoted amount and were good to go. Very pain free process and professional company to work with."

"Travis was amazing! I bought a new house that had lots of hardwood floor issues. And he spent a week and a half at my house before I had even moved in preparing the floors on two stories. "We have used the steemer for years. Never again. The tech was in a hurry. The carpets were left less than quality clean and very wet. The tech also damaged our front stoop and offered to take off $25 which is the discount they give anyone online. They will not make good on the repair of the stoop. Mgmt said our home was old and not well maintained. Our 80 year old house is immaculate so this is simply false. The man making the comment had not even been here. He also discussed our account with a friend so privacy isn’t a priority either. Corporate was written to and did not reply. Apparently they’re interested in sales, not maintaining customer relationships."

Do not use sure dry especially if you live in city of Neenah because ted the useless inspector will not approve it leaving you screwed "

Using too much soap or floor cleaner can leave your laminate floors looking dirty or cloudy after mopping. Only use a teaspoon of soap or cleaning solution in a gallon of water. Additionally, always be sure to sweep or vacuum laminate floors before mopping to ensure you pick up dried grit, hair, and dust that can be harder to catch with a wet mop.

A good subfloor can last 30 years or even longer, depending on the material. OSB should last a bit longer than plywood. However, OSB isn’t the best option for heavy flooring types like ceramic tile or stone. It’s also worth noting that regular moisture exposure will drastically reduce any subfloor's life span.

Dry rot or severe water damage may warrant a replacement, but you don’t always need to replace damaged subflooring. If your subfloor has warped because it was installed incorrectly, you can sometimes shim the panels (in other words, add a thin, wedge-shaped piece of wood to level the surface). If your subfloor bows upward, you may be able to sand it down at the joist so it’s level, depending on the extent of the damage.

It is normal to glue carpet down, though it’s not the only or the most popular method of installing carpet. Modern techniques include tack strips and stretching the carpet, but you might still find glued carpet in older homes or a home with a DIY’d past. Removing a glued-down carpet will be harder compared to other methods of installation.

You can get away with stretching the carpet with some remaining items of furniture, so long as you have ready access to the parts of the carpet that require maintenance and you are not stretching through the furniture, as this leads to tears and fraying. Try to remove at least 50% of the furniture if you can’t remove it all.
