"Integrity comes to mind when thinking about my new wooden stockade privacy fence. The fence itself has a lot of integrity and is straight and tall and strong. It was built by a man of integrity. I am so grateful I looked on Angi for someone to build my fence. Javon called me almost right away to offer his services. Javon is honest, efficient, professional, kind, thoughtful, respectful and caring. He made this project a lot of fun, and he built a fence for me that exceeds my expectations. For Javon, nothing less than perfection will do. Nothing is done halfway, and he meets rules and regulations of the area while honoring my wishes, such as leaving the ends ready for adding on. Javon is prompt, and he works hard. When finished he cleans up the work area, even if he'll be back. Even as he works the work area is organized and efficient. I can't say enough good things about his work habits and standing as a fine young man. I love my fence!"

"They were efficient in terms of the process. They sent the pad in a reasonable time frame. I did have to call a couple times. It took about a month to deliver. They sent the material which was packed nicely. There were 2 issues: 1-the glue or adhesive they used smelled badly. I had to put in my garage for a couple weeks until that 2-every corner was protruded, the table pad corners were too sharp on the mat .which poses risks with small children. I called about that and they said to put some tape over it. The manager called back to discuss the issue was. She suggested that I try to fix. it. The company might have done something to repair if I had followed up."
"Our home that they painted is 90 miles from our main house and we felt very comfortable letting them live there for over a week to get the work done. So you really can trust them and the home was left so clean that you wouldn't even know anyone had been there. I would highly recommend both of them (Jeff and Kevin). They would send us pictures because we had an issue with carpenter ants they had to replace some of the siding before doing the exterior painting. They are not only trustworthy but very friendly and you know the work will be done right!"
"Rich Reimer answered his cell phone when I called per his listing on Angie's List. It was the day before Easter. He came on Easter Sunday in the morning to explore our issue and provide us an estimate. Rich was extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the process of estimating and completing the job. He is proud of the company he owns and works each day to provide professional service and build his reputation. I was in a hurry to get the project done as we wanted to be showing our home and have everything in order. We took some time to get another estimate (which came in higher and wasn't anywhere as professional). Rich returned on Tuesday to sign the contract. He worked closely with an associate to supervises the project. His associate worked hard and was as professional as Rich. We are good to go again given their prompt and professional service. I would recommend Rich to anyone. "
"They were very professional and did a wonderful job. The quality of work by them was outstanding. I am glad I found them they made my remodeling a success. I highly recommend them to anyone remodeling or building. A happy customer T OM L MELTZ Tom L."
Yes, most services include necessary frame modifications for proper door fitting. Confirm with your provider.
When deciding whether to use nails or screws for framing, the specific needs of the project must be taken into account. Nails have long been the go-to option for framing due to their affordability, ease of installation, and ability to withstand shear forces. They are perfect for structural framing projects where fast assembly is essential. In contrast, screws offer exceptional holding power and are particularly useful in situations requiring increased strength and resistance to pull-out forces. For projects that prioritize accuracy and long-lasting quality, screws may be the preferred option, though nails remain a dependable and efficient choice.
When hanging a door frame, it’s recommended that you use screws, not nails. Screws are more secure, easier to tighten, and easier to remove if you need to adjust the frame. On average, the cost to replace a door frame is about $400, but you can save on labor costs if you’re confident in your ability to DIY the project.
Installing an ornamental or decorative porch column takes around three to five hours. Structural columns take longer because your pro has to install a jack to hold up the roof while switching the column out. If there's any structural damage, it can add several days to the timeline to repair the damage.
When deciding if you should use 2x6 or 2x8 deck joists, consider the size of the deck, joist spacing, and materials. Larger decks, larger-spaced joists, and weaker wood all require more support, meaning they need larger joists. For example, 2x8 redwood joists spaced 16 inches apart can only safely span up to 10 feet and 7 inches. On the other hand, 2x10 southern pine joists spaced 12 inches apart can be as big as 16 feet and 2 inches. If you aren’t sure what size joist is best for your project, speak with your deck builder.
