"I told Ariel at our first meeting " If I am spending money like this I expect perfection". Ariel and his staff did just that and more. Always returned my phone calls, he kept me informed and up to date on the materials. We had some weather issues this year but that only delayed a few days. Once the weather cooperated , the guys were on it and had it all said and done in less than a week. We had our roof replaced and installed solar powered roof vents , new gutters and downspouts. We also needed a new patio door. Our house has a east(front) and west(back) setting and the kitchen is in the back so you can imagine try to keep the kitchen comfortable to cook in the warmer months and warm in the cooler months with the wicked northwest winds. We chose a sliding triple pane door. Ariel suggested we tint it to cut back on the sun rays. You can't even tell there is a tint until you open the door. If a door could be pretty, this works for us. This is no door you go buy all put together and pop in, Ariel had to assemble then install it. The door in completely trimmed and sealed to which we will probably never have to replace. Our intent when we started this project was to do the better job with everything and Ariel understood that. We are so pleased with the work he has done , he will be the first one we call for the next project. "

Yes, enclosing a patio to create a sunroom or three-season room is often a good idea that adds value to your home. This project increases your home's usable square footage and creates a versatile space for relaxing or entertaining that is filled with natural light and can be used in various weather conditions. Homeowners may see an average return on investment (ROI) of around 70%. The final value added will depend on factors such as the quality of the materials, the level of finish, and the amount of yard space that remains after the enclosure.
If you have multiple rooms that could use some organization, home storage solutions like cubbies in your mudroom or built-in shelving can help you move clutter off the floor. Take it one step further by pairing shelves and cabinets with personalized aesthetic touches like woven or canvas lined metal baskets to add another organizational element.
The average cost to enclose a patio to create a sunroom is around $5,000, and prices generally range from $3,000 up to $10,000. The price you pay will depend on the state of your patio and whether it needs repairs or additional structural support, the quality of the materials you choose, the size of your patio, and whether you plan to run utilities into and finish the sunroom. The price for a fully finished patio enclosure could run up to around $20,000, while you might pay just $2,500 for a screened-in porch.
Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:
Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.
Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.
Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.
Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.
A Florida room doesn’t have insulation, nor is the space heated, so in most cases, the room won’t be comfortable enough to use during the winter months. A four-season room, which is like a Florida room that’s insulated, heated, and cooled, is a better option if you’re looking to enjoy your sunroom all year long.
