"This guy is a scammer. He talks about how much he loves God but he scams people. On June 21st, we gave him an $800 down payment to repair my mom's garage. The only reason I went with this guy was because he repaired the roof on my mom's neighbor house. But they didn't tell me until after we gave him the deposit that he takes forever to complete jobs. If I would have know this beforehand, I wouldn't have used him. He was supposed to repair the structure and install a new roof. He bought material and came one time. I called and texted him, and everytime he said he was coming, he never came. It's now December 13th, and he has not done anything. I called him again and he stated he was picking up more material. Well he never showed up. Don't use this guy. he's a scammer and just takes people money. DO NOT USE HIM EVER!!!!!!"

Composite decking may never warp, or it may warp quickly. Several factors can influence the rate of warping, including the material's quality, installation method, and installation location. Generally speaking, high-quality materials that have been installed properly are drastically less prone to warping.

Most two-person porch swings are rated to hold up to 500 pounds or more. However, each swing manufacturer has its own recommended weight limits, with some as low as 250 pounds while others are as high as 800 pounds. Always double-check the manufacturer’s guide and stay within the recommended range when in doubt.

Lattice should not touch the ground, as it creates a possibility for rot and a termite infestation. It’s best to leave a gap of 3 or 4 inches at the bottom for airflow and to keep the wood dry. You can add stones, bricks, or other decorative pieces to conceal the bottom of the lattice if desired.

When it comes to rotten deck wood, there really is no fixing it in the traditional sense—it needs to be removed and replaced. For added safety, consider installing a clear acrylic or mesh guard along the inside of the railing to prevent small limbs or paws from slipping through. Avoid horizontal rails that adventurous kids can climb like ladders. You can also add self-closing gates at stair openings to limit access.
