You may find you do not need rugs to warm a space, thanks to the radiant heat coming up through your feet.

To prepare a floor for a steam mop, it’s essential to vacuum or sweep the floor thoroughly to remove dirt, dust, pet hair, and other debris. Skipping this step can lead to streaky results and may cause you to simply spread grime instead of removing it. Worse, hard debris can scratch or damage delicate floors like hardwood or laminate.
