Kraus Snowplows and Equipment was founded in 1978 by Tom Kraus. The primary business at that time was selling Patz Equipment. We have installed and serviced farm equipment ever since that time. We have expanded our offerings to Agromatic, Berg and Kraiburg farm products as time progressed. In 1997, we purchased a snowplow business and provide full sales, service and parts for Boss, Hiniker, Kage, Meyer, Western & Saltdogg snowplows and salters. In 2000, we began pouring concrete as a concrete contractor. We pour flat-work and walls for all agricultural, commercial and residential customers. Since the business has expanded, we now employ 10 people and have built a new shop and storage area in 2009.

Stamped concrete can be slippery when wet, but certain stamp designs and types of sealers can reduce slip and add traction. When installing stamped concrete in areas that often get wet, take care to choose a pattern and sealer that’s designed to prevent the surface from becoming too slippery.

These sealants come in basic clear forms and more decorative options, varying in price accordingly.

The life span of a painted concrete driveway can vary based on several factors. When properly prepared, primed, and painted with high-quality concrete paint, a well-maintained driveway can last 5 to 10 years or more. Other factors like climate conditions, traffic volume, and lack of maintenance also impact life span. Regular cleaning, resealing, and touch-ups can extend the longevity of a painted concrete driveway, ensuring it remains both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
