"Matt was very friendly and a very hard worker. He rebuilt our garage that went down with all the snow that we had. He also rebuilt our deck that also got wrecked from the snow. Everything that Matt did for us was excellent and to our needs. We would highly recommended him, and ask him back for anything else we need done in the future.?? He also asked us questions before he would do anything. Very, very reliable and understanding. Giving him a 5 star all the way."

"I met with Ariel Zmijewski to get a quote to side my house and garage and to install two new attic windows. I'm a single woman and homeowner and I have encountered more than my share of contractors who tend to patronize me because I am a woman. I called in several quotes for the siding job on my home and Ariel was the only one who treated me with genuine respect. Of course, I wouldn't have hired him just based on that, but GF also offered a competitive price for the job as well as quality materials. Ariel said it would take about six weeks to get the material and then they would schedule my job and after 5 weeks, Ariel called and said the material was in and would be delivered to my home in two days and they would begin the job the following Monday! Ariel guesstimated the job would take about two weeks, but it actually wound up taking four weeks - the reason being they encountered a couple issues when siding my house. I have an older home and it seems like anything I do in renovating my home causes issues - which is why I have learned it is very important to have competent contractors on the job and that is what I had with GF. Though the job took longer than planned due to these issues, these issues were resolved with fluidity and the end result is amazing! Neighbors and family have complimented me on the look of my home and also on the fellas doing the job - they were impressed at how detailed they were! The crew doing my siding and windows were amazing - ask for Mike, Jeremy and Tom and you will NOT be disappointed. These guys were not only professional in their behavior but real nice down to earth guys! I had a lot of detail work on my front porch and they took great pains to ensure everything looked nice. I baked cookies and had chips and water and pop for them one day and gave them money to buy lunch for themselves another day and really wished I could have done more - these guys work great together! And, Ariel came out to check out the work and monitored the job until it was done. He always returned my phone calls promptly and never acted like I was bothering him. I am going to get the remaining windows replaced on my home in the near future and will happily be using Ariel and GF to do the job! "

Homemade Design (HMD) is America's leading online interior design service that provides a dedicated interior designer to work closely with you, to design and decorate your home for one extremely affordable fixed fee per room based on services required. \nWorking with your HMD interior designer is like having an interior designer best friend who evaluates your existing space, studies images of rooms you love, understands your budget constraints and explores the functional considerations that fit your lifestyle. HMD is the only flat-fee virtual consulting service that allows collaboration at multiple points in the process with our client. We help our clients navigate the design process by breaking it down into a linear process. First we analyze their likes and dislikes in terms of style and color, navigate budget vs. quality challenges and analyze the function of the room. Next we help you choose the major pieces in the room that will determine style and the overall color palette, and then we specify products and sources that fit within those parameters.\nThe design process is not universal to every design firm (or TV show.) Please call or email – we’d love to chat about your project and how we anticipate working with you to create your dream home!
"Not blown away. I provided a good deal of information up-front: floorplans from my builder, exact measurements of room, my design preferences - including several stores I like to shop at to give her an idea of my style. After I had provided all of this, Jill said she'd have my designs to me in about 4 weeks. I did not receive them for at least 8-10 weeks, and that was after several emails to her requesting status of the project. If I wouldn't have prodded I'm not sure how long (if ever) I would have received what was promised. When I did receive my designs, they were floorplans, which was as expected. Along with a page or two of copy-and-pasted pictures of a few possible furniture selection. Which was much less than I expected. Based on the description I expected boards, with color selections, upholstery, etc. This was a big disappointment, especially after waiting 2-3 times longer than she had told me it would take."

Yes, garage cabinets are worth it to organize the tools, supplies, equipment, and gear you’ve been storing in the garage. Garage cabinets provide a great way to declutter your space while also preserving your valuables—keeping them free from dust, debris, and various weather elements. Not to mention, garage cabinets also elevate the look of your garage, which can prove beneficial when you’re looking to sell your home.
You should lube your garage door components every three to six months depending on how frequently you open and close the door. Lubricant helps keep garage door components operating smoothly for longer; you can expect a much longer lifespan out of a garage door when you properly care for it, including frequent lubrication. Regular maintenance is much more affordable than the cost of replacing a garage door prematurely.
If you have a garage heater that is 1,500 watts or more, it will need its own breaker. As a good rule of thumb, no appliance should exceed 1,500 watts per outlet for best outcomes. Consult a local garage heating service to determine the power needs for your outdoor or indoor space.
Electric garage doors are secure when adequately installed and maintained. They often come equipped with safety features like rolling code technology that generates a new code each time you use the remote, making it harder for burglars to intercept and duplicate. However, their security depends on factors like the quality of the door and your diligence in safeguarding remote controls and access codes. Regular maintenance, strong passwords, and adding security enhancements can boost the security of electric garage doors, making them a reliable choice for many homeowners.
Without a doubt, insulating a garage door is a surefire way to make your home more energy efficient. Not only does insulating your garage door reduce your electric bills, but it also helps protect your valuables inside your garage, all while making for a quieter interior space.
In regions that drop below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, your car's battery is at risk of malfunctioning in a garage that drops dangerously low. So, homeowners who reside in extremely cold climates can especially benefit from insulating their garages.
