"We are so pleased with the service received from Ultra Painting! Kenzie actually exceeded our expectations. We had two bedrooms painted. The project was completed in one day! At the time of the estimate, Kenzie explained the process involved, how long the project might take, and advised how many coats of paint needed in each room. Pressure washing is the best way to remove paint that’s already peeling from certain types of vinyl and aluminum siding and some masonry. However, if the paint is largely intact and not yet peeling, or if your siding material can’t withstand the pressure, you may need to use other methods, such as chemical paint strippers, a heat gun, a paint scraper, or sanding.

If you recently splashed paint on the wrong area of a wooden object, remove it with a solvent or caustic paint stripper. Some paint that has yet to dry may be removable by hand with coarse sandpaper or a plastic scraper. Another trick for removing dried-on paint is rubbing a dab of nail polish remover on the paint to remove it, but avoid touching the bare wood surface.

WD-40 can help remove paint on wood floors, but use it cautiously. Start with a small amount and let it sit for a few minutes, then gently scrape the paint off using a plastic (not metal) scraper. You may want to test it first on a hidden area to ensure it doesn't damage the finish. Professional products specifically designed for hardwood may be a better choice for large or stubborn paint spots.

WD-40 is an effective way to remove glue and other sticky residue from many surfaces, including wood. Spray the WD-40 on the area, allow the product to sit for a few minutes, then carefully wipe away the residue. As with other adhesive removal methods, test the WD-40 on an inconspicuous spot first to ensure it won’t damage the finish. 

Linoleum adhesive is quite stubborn, so you may have to try several different methods for removal. You can start with a wallpaper steamer and steam it off or add laundry detergent to water and let it soak into the adhesive. You can try paint thinner directly on the adhesive for about 10 minutes and then wipe away.
