Playground Equipment questions, answered by experts
In most cases, your professional playground installer will put down a playground surface before assembling the fun-filled system. However, you should ask your installer about this service before booking an installment date. Most playground equipment installation companies offer service add-ons like leveling the area, laying down a surface, building a border to keep the surface material contained, and setting up the swing set.
Both indoor and outdoor basketball courts are excellent options, and the best choice depends on factors like your local climate, available space, and budget. As long as the court and hoop dimensions are standard, any player can get a great workout and improve their skills on either type of court.
The primary drawback of an outdoor court is that weather, such as rain and wind, can hinder playing time. An indoor court solves this problem, allowing you to play anytime. However, installing an indoor court can be costly and takes up a significant amount of space that might otherwise serve as a living area.
In most cases, yes, an outdoor living space adds value to your home. The trick to your best return on investment is to choose high-quality building materials that will look nice and durable without crossing the line into total luxury that becomes cost-ineffective. For example, there’s no need to install marble tiles around your pool, but a durable and aesthetically pleasing deck will go a long way.
Children can become interested in playset activities as young as two years old, and many start to lose interest between ages nine and 12. Backyard playsets can grow and adapt as the children age and playtime interests change.
You can start by finding playground installers in your area that have amassed mostly positive reviews online. Next, search for the companies on the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) website to see if any consumer complaints have been filed. Once you rule out companies with poor reviews and a history of complaints, contact the remaining options and ask the following questions to find the right installer for you:
Will you pull permits if required?
Do you offer a warranty?
How long do you expect the installation to take?
Do you have experience working with the specific playground material I want?
