"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

In this business, there are two kinds of people. The first would be the average company who works an area, doing the same jobs repetitively. The second, a company that has traveled state to state, completed jobs in every atmosphere, and with every request imaginable. We've done small bathroom remodels, to tile-animal art on private homes in upper class neighborhoods, to creating home decor and outside masterpieces completely out of tile, stone, marble, and about 35 other materials! Contact us for a free estimate within 45 miles from our home in Horicon, WI. We also handle intermediate electrical, masonry, remodels, demo, fencing, painting, intermediate plumbing, a lot of drywall of all types, and custom designs for household items such as cabinets, porches, decks, and more! This business is run by my dad, myself, my brothers, and 3 of my best friends. We work fast and accurately so you can hurry to enjoy your new home improvements/renovations! Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Most of the time, you can replace a kitchen sink without replacing the entire counter. However, if you’re replacing a large sink with a smaller sink, you’ll have to fully replace the counter because you’ll have a gap in the sink space area. But if your new sink is bigger than your old sink, your pro can simply cut into your counter to open up space for it.

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.

Any drain in your house requires a water trap to prevent sewer gases from entering the home. Dishwashers don’t have an internal water trap, so they must use an external P trap. The most convenient P trap for the dishwasher is already in the plumbing under your sink.

The average cost to hire a plumber is typically between $45 and $200 per hour, with a common average rate around $125 per hour. This cost can vary based on your location, the plumber's experience, and the complexity of the job. Rates are often broken down by experience level: an apprentice may charge $45 to $90 an hour, a journeyman $60 to $110 an hour, and a master plumber $80 to $200 an hour. While hourly rates are standard, some plumbers may charge a flat fee for routine projects or offer project-based pricing. It's also common for plumbers to charge a minimum service or trip fee. For reference, some typical flat-rate costs for common jobs include: drain unclogging ($220), leaky faucet repair ($270), burst pipe repair ($400), toilet repair ($300), and water heater repair ($600). Note that these rates are for standard service hours; emergency, holiday, and after-hours calls will cost significantly more.

On average, it takes four to eight hours to install a pedestal sink. However, several factors will influence how much time it takes to install a pedestal sink, including:

  • A replacement will take longer to put in than a new install

  • The size and weight of the pedestal sink—a pro may need an apprentice for help

  • It will take longer to change the sink type vs. replacing the pedestal with a duplicate
