"I recently had a concrete patio, steps, and a shed pad installed and couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, the team was prompt and professional, showing up on time and ready to work. Their communication was excellent—we always knew what to expect and when. Once they got started, the crew worked quickly and efficiently, finishing the job in far less time than I expected without cutting corners on quality. The pricing was also very competitive compared to other quotes I received. Overall, I am very pleased with the results and would absolutely use them again for future project. My neighbor already asked for their number lol."

"They were on time, professional, and did great work. Roger always answered his phone when I called. They were scheduled to work one day but it was too wet when the crew got to my house. He said he would come back the next day and he did, right on time. The work was finished later that afternoon."

"Dan was very accommodating to my requests. Made beneficial suggestions that made the job better than expected. Delivered services as requested and on time. Neighbor is jealous because when they had theirs done recently, it was "pooling" after rainfall because grading was off. My driveway is curved and Dan and his team made the grade so rainfall flows away from house and toward street. (Which I did not have before.) A crack developed in the concrete shortly after concrete was laid and Dan not only answered my call, he is working on repair right now. Very responsible and responsive. I would hire him and his team again."

Small jobs welcome

"Rolando has done a bunch of small jobs at our new to us house and has always done great work. He most recently removed a concrete walkway and regraded the area to improve water flow away from our house. He has been professional and easy to work with."

"We contracted them on a handshake. They came in and removed a large area of gumbo clay, installed a solid base and the stone cutting was intricate and impressive. Within 10 days they gave us and the future owners of our home. This family of hard workers never let us down. Then they went above and beyond with follow up visits and answered questions after the installation. I had concerns about winters damage. They answered and winter came and left with zero damage and the patio is our go to place when the weather isn't offensive."

"It went well. He trouble-shot the easiest solutions, to the most involved solution. He figured out where the clog was, and finally had to cut into a basement pipe to remove the clog. He cleaned up a lot of the mess, and explained to me how to clean up the rest. He answered all my questions, and even helped with another smaller issue."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Welders use a variety of methods in their trade. Different types of welding are better suited for different purposes and contexts. For example, stick welding is a versatile form suitable for most metals and alloys. The most common types of welding include:

  • Stick welding: $100–$1,000

  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Gas welding: $150 and up

  • Forge welding: $15–$25 per hour

Cutting round ductwork requires precision and the right tools. A duct cutter, specifically designed for circular ducts, is ideal. First, mark the cutting line on the duct using a measuring tape and pencil. Then, position the duct cutter's blade on the marked line. Apply steady pressure, rotating the cutter around the duct. The sharp blade creates a clean, precise cut. Alternatively, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade can be used for larger round ducts. Ensure the duct is securely held in place while making the cut to prevent slips and maintain accuracy.

Yes, you can use a saw to cut metal pipes. The best saw to use is a reciprocating saw, but even a fine-tooth hacksaw can get the job done. No matter which saw you use to cut metal pipes, wear protective gear, like work gloves, safety goggles, and ear plugs. Apply a firm, steady pressure to the tool, and always ensure the pipes are secured so they don't move while you make the cuts.

You should not do your own welding unless you have the proper training and experience. Most home electrical systems can only handle MIG welding, which creates weaker bonds than TIG welding and won’t work on certain metals or metal thicknesses. Both welding forms usually require the use of shielding gas, which can be dangerous to store at home. Additionally, welding machines create temperatures of over 3,000 degrees, and the sparks can blind you if you don’t have the proper equipment. As such, it’s usually better to hire a professional welder for your welding projects.

While a high-speed circular saw will cut through metal, and even cut through multiple sheets at once, the fast-spinning saw blades create a lot of heat. This heat can damage paint and other protective coatings, leading to serious problems like rust over time. The cost to paint a metal roof again to avoid this damage is typically an additional $0.50 to $1 per square foot.
