"Kurt was awesome. Very professional, but made sure I understood what he was doing to troubleshoot to make sure he did not replace what was not needed. Turned out some of our coaxial cable was bad, too many cheap junk splitters and the antenna also proved to be be bad. He worked very hard and was making sure everything was working. We went fron having 20 stations that would come in about 10% of any day, to now having 54 local stations. All having strong signals. I would tell everyone to have Kurt come check your systems. You are probably missing channels you do not even know of."

"Off to a rocky start when the tech was in a motor vehicle collision putting him in the hospital. However, Mr. Lee contacted another tech from northern Alabama who did a magnificent job. I should note that my home and office are in Turtletown, TN. Getting service on anything here is a significant struggle. A tech solution repaired my optical fiber network quickly and efficiently."

"This is the second time I have used this company, and I highly recommend them for at-home, thorough service. Gary, the technician (coincidentally for both times), is professional, knowledgeable, and not only solved my problem but tested to assure that it was fixed, explained the issue to me, and gave additional insight into my set up as well.

"We wanted the exterior lights on our home to be programmable and Lightman Technology made this happen. They offered options and asked great questions to be sure we would get what we were looking for. The installation service was excellent and professional. This was followed by customer service that exceeded our expectations."

"Had TVs mounted to walls in bedroom and living room, as well as setting up home theater systems of DVD player, cable, and complete sound system. Work was exceptional. My tech, David, was great -- besides getting everything done efficiently, cleaned entire work area, then spent quite some time explaining how it all worked and didn't leave until he was sure I was confident doing it. Highly recommend Geek Squad!"

"This was the second project I hired Tyler to complete. My situation is tricky for internet as there is not a reliable wired provider. Living below the ledge in northern Brown County makes wireless internet tricky. Tyler had the solution for both TV and the internet. Very reliable and does the work right the first time. I would highly recommend Tyler for any project you have."

Stereo and Home Theater Systems questions, answered by experts

The standard home theater screen size is 100 inches to 120 inches for a full home theater room, but the ideal size TV to buy depends on a few factors. For example, a screen that’s less than 120 inches may be better in a room with less space and where seating is positioned more closely to the screen. If your seating is close to the screen, a smaller screen is better, in the 60- to 70-inch range. This is common for smaller basement conversions to home theater rooms.

They offer cable concealment and sound system integration, enhancing the viewing experience.

To maintain your home theater or surround sound system for optimal performance, regularly dust all components, including speakers. Check all connections and wires to ensure they are secure. For smart systems, keep the software and firmware updated.

You can customize your home theater with a wide range of features, but the minimum components include a display (like a TV or projector), a sound system, and comfortable seating. Your total cost will vary depending on the components, brands, and features you choose. Common elements and their approximate costs include: 4K 50-inch to 60-inch TV: $800–$1,500; 60-inch TV and bracket: $900; Amplifier: $250; Five box speakers and subwoofer: $500; High-end front projector: $10,000–$60,000; Home theater screen: $250–$1,500; Low-end front projector: $1,500; Surge protection: $25 and up; Three HDMI cables: $30; Universal remote: $20–$200; Wiring and circuit board: $400–$2,700.

The time required for a home theater installation can vary. A standard setup may take between 4-8 hours, while more complex projects involving custom wiring and extensive equipment can take a full day or up to two days to complete.
