CRS Contracting, LLC has been providing expert home remodeling services to Green Bay area residents for many years. With our expansive knowledge in remodeling services, we have built a reputation of trust and reliability. Each project is completed on time and on budget to the pleasure of our customers. There are a vast number of contractors in Wisconsin. However, we believe that the difference between a good contractor and a great one is in the details. CRS Contracting, LLC is in the latter category.

I provide custom cabinets and furniture for homes and condos. I am just starting out on my own so I am looking for small to medium sized jobs. I have over 17 years of experience building cabinets and graduated from Fox Valley Technical College for Wood Manufacturing Technology in 2006. I have worked in multiple cabinet shops across the U.S. including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Hawaii and Colorado. From larger high production shops to smaller local shops. I have done multi million dollar homes to smaller condos in the past at previous shops with the rest of my team I worked with. I love building things and working with my hands and I promise my product will be done right the first time! I provide a quality product that will last a lifetime. Through the Grain woodshop would love to talk with you about your future kitchen, bathroom or any freestanding furniture you are interested in. I currently am only set up to do Shaker style doors on cabinets. They look really nice. I just cant add a profile on edges at this point.

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

Typically, a medicine cabinet should be installed about 60 to 72 inches above the floor. This height ensures that it's easily accessible for most individuals while allowing for proper visibility and convenience. However, the ideal height may vary based on individual preferences and the average eye level of the users in your household.

Since they are so fragile, it is not usually recommended to stack anything on top of your packed lamps. If you have sturdy boxes, and what you plan to put on top of them is of a similar weight, it’s okay to stack.

The method you use to remove your kitchen cabinet drawers depends solely on the type of drawer slides your cabinet style has. Old kitchen cabinets might have wooden, metal, or plastic slides that simply require you to lift or lower the front edge of the drawer. This action disengages the stop mechanism. Other types will require you to activate levers or tabs to physically disconnect one half of the slide from the other.

Removing kitchen cabinets can vary in difficulty depending on factors like experience, the cabinet's installation method, and any obstacles or complexities involved. Generally, it's a moderately difficult task that requires basic carpentry skills and tools and, ideally, a helper to support the weight of the cabinets during removal. Disconnecting utilities beforehand can complicate the project, and it’s best to hire a pro if you’re not confident in your skills.

Yes. It’s common to have a combination of knobs and pulls for drawers and cabinets. There are usually a few different-sized cabinet doors or drawer fronts that look better with different scales of handles, or you might prefer one type of handle for a drawer front and a different one for a cabinet door. Be sure to choose handles of the same overall type when you mix and match and avoid using more than three types in one room to make sure everything flows together.
