"Stay away from this company. The sales guy will over promise, while the installer under delivers. Fascia board and flashing were incorrectly installed on my front porch, causing rain to drip between the back of the gutter and fascia. Then I was told, it's the best they could do. They also installed new gutters over rotted wood, after I asked both, the sales member, and the installer to replace the rotted section. I'll be correcting these issues on my own since the company refuses to stand behind their work."

Yes, you can apply stucco directly over brick, and the rough texture of the brick should be enough for the stucco to adhere to, even without a binding agent.
