One issue we had was that the existing gas line to the built-in grill needed replacing. Grow-Rite don't do that, and that's ok but they put in a 1-1/2" PVC access line for the gas contractor to thread their new gas line down and it almost didn't fit - go to 2-1/2 inch in future guys. Following the patio we went back to Grow-Rite a few more times for other services - Tree removal and landscaping and are happy with the work they performed. We would consider them first for yard maintenance and landscaping. The worker came over to aerate my yard. He left inch long dirt pellets all over my sidewalk. I got home just as he finished and he was sitting in his truck. I got my broom and swept the dirt pellets off the sidewalk so it wouldn't get tracked inside, and he sat there and watched me. Several times I contacted Juan about a broken sprinkler in the flower bed, each time I was promised it would be fixed, but it never was until I did it myself. Then in the fall as Halloween approached, they had never come to blow out my sprinklers, so I contacted Juan again. In addition they had not removed the leafs from the back yard. So the worker came over, said he had blown out the sprinklers and used a leaf blower to blow all my leafs into a huge pile in the corner of my yard and he left them there. That weekend the wind blew them back all over the yard. I had to request a couple more times for the yard service that I was paying for to be performed, not acceptable. Then in early March I got an email saying they were referring me and several other clients to a different lawn service, although our contract was still in play and I had been paying through the winter when no work is being done. Now here is the worst part. This spring I turned on the water to my sprinkler system and my entire back flow prevention valve assembly had frozen over the winter because it had standing water in it. So either the worker lied about blowing it out or he did not do it correctly. Now I am paying to have it repaired which will cost between $300 to $400. The back flow prevention valve is an $80 valve by itself. It was only 3 years old.
I'm not sure why their quality of work has declined, but I would not hire them again and I would never recommend them to anyone else.

I paid $90 per hour for the labor of two men, Donald and Darren. They carefully moved the furniture onto the new wood plank flooring without scratching it. In a few instances they needed to dis-assemble and re-assemble individual items so they would fit through doors. They also hooked up my electronic equipment (TV, DVD player, computer, printer) after placing it in its permanent location. My only complaint is that they did not bring any tools or moving accessories with them to the job site. I partly blame myself for not adequately explaining to Donald on the phone exactly what tools would be required. As it turned out, I had most of the tools needed. I would suggest that The Move Removers always carry some basic tools (ratchets, screw driver, level, straps, sliders, blankets, ladder, etc.) with them to every job, even if no moving truck is required. He did substandard work, and piecemeal so that it was not finished. We had to call back after inspection to get to code what he had done, even after we had asked for the specific items to be done prior to the inspection. (specifically securing exterior spigots to the studs). He did not do what was asked and the stubbed in plumbing was not plumbed far enough to clear the drywall, and the shower was not installed so I had to purchase another shower assembly to redo his work. Sean and Jr moved me from a 3rd floor apt to a 3rd floor apartment. Bought boxes, and they picked them back up after I had unpacked and reinbursed me (serioulsy THE BEST way to go). I had pretty bulky furniture that I wasn't around for when it was assembled. They dis-assembled everything, and...

They provided a design which we were able to discuss, and did the removal and installation around August. The yard got pretty tore up, but this was necessary for the access required for this type of repair, and they are a landscape company, so they included the restoration in the price. All...

FAQs for grill assembly projects in West Richland, WA
The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
The cost of a gas grill burner ranges from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the brand. If you’re replacing one burner, consider replacing all the burners simultaneously. Although it will cost more upfront, it will save you the hassle of replacing a burner every few months, and your grill will cook more evenly and efficiently.
If your grill is relatively new or under warranty, it’s worth fixing. If the warranty has run out, find the cost of parts (usually a burner or grate that’s rusted out). If the parts cost more than half the price of a new grill, it’s worth buying a new one.
However, if your gas grill is a built-in unit as part of an outdoor kitchen, contact the grill manufacturer or distributor to check on warranty coverage. You should also contact a local gas grill repair technician to get an estimate for repairs or a price to replace your built-in grill.
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. Most grill manufacturers offer an extended warranty, varying in coverage and terms. You can help extend the life of your grill by cleaning it inside and out to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits. Protect your gas grill from the elements with a grill cover to prevent it from rusting, lessening the frequency of repairs.
