It's been almost 4 months since installation. We were able to enjoy our patio for the first time since we bought the house. There was one leak where the cover attached to the house. They came out immediately and repaired it.

The Service provided of inspection and explanation of what the cost would cover when the roof is replaced. I was very pleased with the manner in which Jubel interacted and the honesty in which he represented the company REVE. If anyone wants a completed transparent company and quality work check out REVE company and if you are lucky enough you will have the representative Jubel.
Project 1: 7'x84' dig out debree from West side of house, spray weed killer, place landscape fabric and 5/8 minus gravel, compact.
--- While completing this project, he broke several pieces of siding on our house. When we first talked about him doing that project the one thing I was concerned about was damage to the house because he said he'd use a mini excavator and it's only 6/12 feet between the house and the fence. We just resided and painted our house last fall and I didn't want it damaged. He assured me it would not be. Then when I discovered the damage he said that it couldn't be helped. I told him that we had six siding boards left but he didn't offer to replace the ones he broke or offer to help my husband replace them.
Also, he didn't compact the gravel that he laid so my husband had to rent a compacter and do it (because by the time we realized he hadn't compacted it he'd already walked off the job).
Project 2: Remove sod, widen driveway remove tree, place 115'x10'x3" of 5/8 minus gravel compacted.
--- He removed too much sod which resulted in 2/3 of the driveway then needing 6+ inches of gravel which meant that we had to buy $300 more gravel and the west edge of the driveway is loose because there's no dirt left on the other side to keep it from sliding down so my husband is now going to have to shore up that side of the driveway.
Project 3: Gravel entire driveway 110'x29'x3" compact place landscape border along side, 115'.
--- When he first suggested placing the landscape border I was concerned because I told him I'd seen some that looked nice because they were put in carefully and were straight but that I'd seen some that were crooked and not put in flat and looked bad and he assured me that mine would be straight and flat and that is NOT how it is. And because the border is on that west edge of the driveway where he removed too much dirt, it just wants to fall over so my husband needs to fix it.
Project 4:
Remove shrubs adjoining the driveway, remove railroad ties boardering the front of the house. Prepare and pour concrete porch from the front door to the fence on the West side of the house, apx. 10' x 35', including one step up to the front door landing. Contractor willbe responsible for dumping fees associated with excavation, Concrete will be poured after site is prepared and compacted with gravel and rebar. Six (6) sac concrete will be used and completed with a broom finish.
The shrubs were in an area aprox. 10' x 3' and they were removed and so were the railroad ties, which didn't take long. In the patio area there were a few small stumps that they pulled out. He did somewhat level the patio site and place some gravel. But after the driveway was done and we paid him for that part of the job, he informed us that he wasn't coming back the next day to finish the patio. When asked when he'd be back, he said he didn't know. I told him that was an unacceptable answer and that he could not expect us to wait indefinitely and he then proceeded to whine about how much emotional distress we had put him through because of questions we'd asked while he was working. Actually, my husband had to SUPERVISE him and had to tell him, over and over and over, how he wanted things done, and it still didn't quite get done the way we wanted. Once, when my husband pointed out that the front of the yard he was cutting back from the street was suppose to be cut back 10' and he'd only cut it back about 7', his response was "You're really gonna hold me to that?" WHAT??? He never did cut it back to 10'. It's at 9' because he never did the finishing work with a shovel to get it cut off straight, like he said he would, so the front of the yard is all jagged and raggedy looking. So we'll have to fix that to.
His last day here, before telling us he wasn't coming back to finish the patio, my husband decided to ask him some questions about the patio work to make sure he really did know what he was suppose to do because we learned after watching him work that he appeared to have knowledge of how something needed to be done and should be done but either didn't possess the professional skill to do it OR lacked the will to do it right. So, my husband asked him about whether he was going to place metal flashing against the siding so it would be between the siding and concrete and he said "no, I hadn't planned on it". My husband asked, well isn't that code? No answer. "Well we shouldn't have water run down between the siding and the cement, right", but Chris just stood there staring at him and didn't answer. Then my husband asked him how much of a slope he was going to have from the house out to make sure the water would run off away from the house and he said 1 1/2". WHAT? It should be no more than 5/8", and doesn't need to be more than that, and since it's a patio you don't want to feel the slope.
Since he refused to finish the patio, my husband called him about refunding 1/2 of the 50% we paid up front because he didn't earn all the entire 50% but he won't return our calls.
So after all the money we paid him, we're going to have to spend even more to shore up the west side of the driveway so it doesn't collapse, we had to rent a compactor and compact the gravel on the side of the house that he failed to do but was paid to do, and now we have to hire someone else to put in the patio because he refused to fulfill the contract and won't refund some of the money we paid him up front.
Look him up on the Labor and Industries site. There's some interesting reading there. I sure wish I'd done that BEFORE hiring him.

One man went to work cutting off the branches with a chain saw and the others drug the branches to the chipper. The tree was lying on the roof with about a 45 degree angle. When the branches were out of reach, the man cutting walked up the trunk removing branches until he got to the roof edge. At this point he climbed onto the roof; he was followed by another crew member. The two men on the roof proceeded to cut up the tree from the top down. The plan was with the weight of the branches removed, the tree would try to spring to a vertical position. The men on the roof tried to lift the tree to help it, but the root system was not going to help out. After some discussion, it was decided they would drive a pickup on to my lawn with my permission, tie a rope from the pickup to the middle of the tree so it would lift it just enough off the roof where it could be cut it back and then lower it to the ground. As the tree was lifted off the roof, it started to rotate toward the patio area where there were shrubs and a garden. The supervisor was driving the pickup and had the presence of mind to quickly drive forward and drop the tree trunk on the patio missing both the shrubs and garden and the edge of the roof line. The trunk was quickly cut up and the wood stacked nicely on my patio for drying. The gate to my patio was just wide enough to let the stump grinder through after they removed one tire of the dual set. After the stump was ground up they smoothed out the ground and placed the existing sod to cover the hole. They used leaf blowers to clean off the roof and the patio. Although there are tracks in the grass where the pickup truck drove, I think another mowing should make them disappear as they are not ruts.. We were very statisfied with the work and especially the price. I had three other bids from $900 to $2000. "Wow! I am so pleased with my new deck! Chris, Kayden and Austin went above and beyond to make sure everything was just perfect. This was a difficult project that involved lots of digging up large basalt rocks, hauling the old deck debris--complete with hot tub--down a treacherous narrow path and lots of steps. Not to mention hauling equipment like jack hammers and cement mixers up the the same path.
Chris, Kayden and Austin were professional, punctual, and personable as well. It was a pleasure working with this excellent crew, and I would definitely recommend them and their company, Dynamic Decks. "

FAQs for patio cover service projects in Veradale, WA
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
The cost of an awning is $1,400 to $4,400 on average. However, this cost could be as low as $100 or as high as $7,500, depending on a few factors. The type of awning you choose, the size you need, and your location all affect your overall cost.
For example, portable awnings you can put up and take down yourself range from $100 to $400, whereas motorized awnings are more luxurious and cost between $2,000 and $3,500.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.
Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.
Besides the type of awning, you’ll need to choose the type of cover. Your awning installation professional will review your options with you, including availability and costs. The types of covers you can choose from include:
Wood, which is durable but can be damaged easily by rainwater and fire
Cotton offers flexibility, weatherproofing, and easy cleaning
Canvas is highly durable and is a good choice for retractable awnings
Metal is sturdy but is prone to rust
Polyester is easy to clean and is a more breathable option
Polycarbonate is highly resistant to UV rays and is difficult to damage
