"We just recently sold our home and I was in a desperate situation to find someone to clean our carpets on a Sunday. Called many places who said they didn’t do Sundays and then as luck would have it I got in touch with Eric at Eco Clean. Right away he gave me an appt for Sunday and came today right on time. He did a fantastic job. Carpet looks amazing. Mine wasn’t an old home at all, but he made the carpets look brand new. He is reasonably priced, does a stellar job and is great to talk to. Highly recommend him."

"Armando was very response and very patient with our Company changing things up several time. Every time I asked him to revise his quote he did it immediately and was very professional. I would highly recommend his company. He came in got the job done quickly and the flooring looks absolutely amazing. He installed wood flooring in a 1500 square foot apartment and then installed carpet on a entire stairwell both jobs were well done. Before Armando and his crew left the job the entire apartment was swept and all debris was taken with him. Outstanding job highly recommend this company. Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

No, thick carpet padding isn’t necessarily better than thinner padding. The appropriate padding thickness will depend on the type of carpet and the amount of foot traffic in the area.

For example, thick padding works well in low-traffic areas, like bedrooms, where you have soft and plush carpeting. However, thick carpet padding can damage low-pile carpet, which is used in the busiest parts of your home (like hallways and entryways). For that reason, it’s best to use thinner, heavier padding underneath carpet in high-traffic areas.

If you have a dark carpet and are going for a lighter look, you should replace it, rather than dyeing, since you can only go darker with dye. If your stains are too heavy to mask with carpet dye or the carpet is more than 10 years old, you should also consider replacing it.

No, it isn’t less expensive to install carpet compared to vinyl floors. The cost of installing carpet can range between $3 and $11 per square foot, so it falls just over the cost of installing vinyl flooring, at an average of $3 to $7 per square foot. High-quality carpeting can also range much higher, even up to $20 per square foot.

If you want your carpet to last as long as possible, then yes, you need to install carpet padding. Carpet padding creates a layer of protection between the back of your carpet and the floor beneath it, which decreases friction and reduces wear and tear. Aside from that, carpet padding also helps absorb noise and makes your carpet feel more comfortable underfoot.

Yes, you can put carpet directly on concrete. However, you need to take certain precautions to ensure the success of the carpet installation. For example, you’ll need to choose a synthetic carpet pad to provide insulation and cushioning and a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from seeping into the carpet.
