I hired Sound Landscape and Contracting 17301 119th Pl NE, Arlington, WA (Owner Joshua Anthony Yonkoske) to refurbish and expand my deck and front porch. I hired him in June with a work start date of 8/19. I paid him a significant amount of money upfront to get on his schedule. Everything seemed fine and I was looking forward to the work getting started. About a week before the work start, I had a couple minor questions but could not get in touch with Joshua after repeated attempts at phone calls, emails, txts. Finally, he emails me the morning the work was to start saying he had to postpone it, worst case scenario the following Monday, 8/26 (He didn't show up). During the week prior, I was again unable to contact him, calling from different numbers, sending emails, etc. He has gone dark. I don't know if he intended to do this from the beginning or what but at this point, it looks like he's stolen a significant amount of money from me and there is no intention to do the work. There were no issues, disputes, nothing. Just plain and simple, he's a FRAUD AND A THIEF! DON'T HIRE HIM FOR ANYTHING"
