"Exceptionally knowledgeable professionals with a service mindset. My office and storage building was flooded from a burst pipe last winter (2021/2022). I called up Affordable Restoration and they helped me through the whole process. They also referred me to a fantastic public adjuster who took care of the whole claim for me. I was impressed on how knowledgeable the Affordable Restoration crew was on not only the flood aspect but also on how to work best with my insurance company. They took the time to educate me throughout the whole process on water, mold, mitigation, restoration and the claim process. After my initial meeting with them, I felt like I was an expert on these topics. This gave me a lot of confidence in working with my insurance claim. It was a breath of fresh air to deal with a contractor that actually cares about you and takes the time to listen and address all of your concerns. Their crews did a great job. I hired Sound Landscape and Contracting 17301 119th Pl NE, Arlington, WA (Owner Joshua Anthony Yonkoske) to refurbish and expand my deck and front porch. I hired him in June with a work start date of 8/19. I paid him a significant amount of money upfront to get on his schedule. Everything seemed fine and I was looking forward to the work getting started. About a week before the work start, I had a couple minor questions but could not get in touch with Joshua after repeated attempts at phone calls, emails, txts. Finally, he emails me the morning the work was to start saying he had to postpone it, worst case scenario the following Monday, 8/26 (He didn't show up). During the week prior, I was again unable to contact him, calling from different numbers, sending emails, etc. He has gone dark. I don't know if he intended to do this from the beginning or what but at this point, it looks like he's stolen a significant amount of money from me and there is no intention to do the work. There were no issues, disputes, nothing. Just plain and simple, he's a FRAUD AND A THIEF! DON'T HIRE HIM FOR ANYTHING"
