"Overall, my experience was very good. The person who helped me with my quote was responsive and personable. We did have some communication issues regarding some of the items we wanted moved. We crews that helped us with the physical move worked very hard and provided solutions when issues came up. The single recommendation I could provide to anyone is be 100% sure everything you want to move is on the digital inventory at least 5 days before moving day. The day of the move, I found things were missing on the digital inventory even though we talked about it."

On the day of the move we hit a snag, as there was someone else moving on my floor at the same time and we only had 1 elevator. They made the most of it and we moved a lot of stuff down 4 flights of stairs in a timely manner. Trustworthy and competent!"

"Working with Michael to set up the two moves with terrific. My problems came from the actual movers. The first movers dropped a heavy piece and damaged it. This group to our items to a location where they were transferred to another group to finish the move. More damage happened. The second move was done by a different group who picked up our things and delivered them. Again some damage. My problem with the second move was with the claim department at National Van Lines. I was overly careful about the damages I claimed (only submitting the largest items or easiest to replace), but had to negotiate to get a fair deal. BUT NVL did set me up with a great guy who could fix most of the damaged items."

They were both efficient and careful in packing my sister's items. Furniture was handled carefully and packed securely in the trailer with plenty of protective padding all around. The people that came to pack my sister were so kind to her. She had dementia was easily confused and forgetful. They treated her with such respect and I very happy to see that. I highly highly recommend this company. I was so happy with everything they did to help me and my sister. I have used them for local moves as well.
