1. I was billed for work that was not done. I only asked after noticing that the area hadn’t been touched but the adjacent sections were painted. The owner confirmed that this was not done and took the charges off. 2. It was very difficult to get the breakdown of the amounts of each large...

David called me the evening before to make sure he had all the details of the work to be performed. I explained that it is a large 3 tiered concrete fountain. He asked for a picture of the fountain to be sent via email so he could have some idea of the size of the fountain to be repaired. ...

They installed a 30' x 12' Maintenance Free Patio Cover (360 sq. ft.), and mounted it to our eave. Installation included three (3) support posts all anchored to concrete, gutter, downspout, and roof flashing. It looked very good from the ground. At that point the job looked very...

Installed a concrete slab 20' long x 12' wide x 6" thick with thickened outer edges. This included doweling (re-bar) to house foundation, compaction, gravel & fine grading. Finished to a broom finish & 1 coat of curing compound. They did a fantastic job and were really professional in how...

DON"T LOOK ANY FURTHER...if you are considering Jim Dandy Plumbing. DO CALL THEM AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT! After seeing how highly Jim Dandy was rated on Angie's List, we called and set up an appointment for our free estimate. Ryan, (Maverick), arrived at the house within the window. He...

Our washer was backing up into the bathroom drains as it emptied, causing problems. We called the company and was told someone would come out that afternoon. Ryan, the technician, arrived when scheduled, was very friendly and got right to work. As he cleaned out the pipes, he explained to us...

Lovestrand Construction had a yellow page ad saying that they did "Driveways, Patios, Sidewalks, Retaining Walls, Hauling, Foundations, Footings, Concrete Removal, Excavation, Backhoe & Dump Truck Service, 30 years experience," and they offered free estimates, so my husband called to have...

Evergreen has no reviews on Angie's List, but I'm familiar with their work because several years ago Dale Miller and his company replaced a sidewalk near my home. He did such a nice job that I wrote down his name and number off a sign he posted in the workplace as I knew we'd also be in the...

TerraFirma Foundation Systems
TerraFirma Foundation Systems
Thousands of NW homeowners have trusted TerraFirma Foundation Systems to keep their homes safe, dry and stable since 2005. Nearly half of our business comes from referrals or repeat customers. We can help you too! TerraFirma is the NW expert in home foundations, basement and crawl space waterproofing, concrete leveling, and wall stabilization.
"I hired TerraFirma Foundation Systems to level my home, expecting a professional job with clear communication, but the entire experience has been incredibly disappointing and costly. From the start, I hired the company to level the floors in my home, specifically to address a nearly 3-inch dip in my kitchen area, a 13x10 room. Yet after they “completed the job,” I still have a 1.5-inch dip in the center of the kitchen, and a corner of my home/kitchen that sits half an inch higher than it should be (above 0%), creating a full inch rise from the living room to the kitchen. Now they’re saying that leveling the kitchen wasn’t included in the original scope, blaming the remaining dip on my kitchen island and fridge being “too heavy” and lacking proper support—an issue they failed to identify in the initial assessment. To properly address this problem, they’re now asking for an additional $7,500, claiming this work was never part of the original job. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, and I can’t help but feel taken advantage of. To make matters worse, I discovered that they used an uncalibrated machine during the initial leveling when installing, which raised my house over an inch more than necessary, causing significant damage that wasn’t there before. Partway through the lift, they even asked me to sign a waiver to get my house closer to 0% level, effectively absolving them of any damage caused. The technician stopped mid-lift to show me the damage that was already occurring and warned that more would likely follow if we continued. I agreed to proceed, trusting their assurances and assuming their equipment was properly calibrated. I even pointed out to the technician at the time that it did not look level, and he assured me the machine was correct. Now, they refuse to take any responsibility for the resulting damage, dismissing it as “standard” and providing terms within the contract absolving them—despite them overcorrecting the home. There were also repeated measurement discrepancies, with reports showing one reading and verbal statements/emails suggesting different levels. When I sought clarification, I received vague responses and empty apologies. After all this, and nearly $30,000 invested, my floor remains unleveled. The only resolution TerraFirma Foundation Systems has offered is for me to pay additional money to level the kitchen and to wait for the overcorrected area to “settle naturally”—a process that, according to their technician, could take anywhere from two months to ten years. I hired TerraFirma Foundation Systems to fully level my home, not to leave me with an incomplete job, inconsistent results, and vague promises. If you’re considering foundation work, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere—this company has left me with extensive damage, unexpected costs, and a significant amount of frustration."

FAQs for concrete disposal projects in Harrah, WA
The kinds of items or materials accepted will vary by hauling company. Some companies will not handle hazardous waste, but hiring ones that do will cost from $5 to $100 or more, depending on what type and quantity of material.
Most companies will haul items such as:
Construction and remodeling waste: $100–$600
Appliances: $50–$600
Furniture: $50–$400
Electronics: $60–$200
Yard waste: $70–$500
The cost to hire a professional junk hauling service ranges from $60 to $600, averaging about $270. Your final price is determined by the type of junk, amount of junk, the distance to the dumpsite, and the equipment required to move and haul your items or materials. Keep in mind that construction junk removal is more expensive than hauling household items, so expect to pay $800 for removing large piles of debris.
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
Depending on the cost to repair your driveway, it may be more cost effective to tear out and replace it with a new concrete driveway. The cost to repave a driveway ranges between $1,400 and $12,100, including removal of the old concrete. Contact a reputable concrete contractor for advice and an estimate. They may have a good reason for going with repairs or replacement after assessing your driveway. You may also have the option to resurface your driveway or pave over it without taking out the existing one.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
