"Adrienne has an incredible sense of space that can't be taught. She just "knows" where things should be placed, perfectly. I hired her to makeover my office so that my Zoom Room looked less like a hostage situation... With items of my own and one small purchase (a fern) my office became my place of zen. Her output is amazing and she is great fun to work with."

"Andrew, Kate and their Team - blew staging out of the park (with my most recent listing) and I can’t thank them enough because my sellers absolutely loved it!! Their client-focused approach, communication, efficiency, eye for detail and consistent professionalism - continues to earn my business. I highly recommend S.H. Staging & Design!! If you give them an opportunity - you won’t be disappointed."

"I had my asphalt driveway demolished and replaced with a larger asphalt driveway. I had 4 estimates for the project. I chose YBarra after meeting with Sean the superintendent. I felt comfortable with him and I thought the estimate he gave was fair. This was not my experience with the other estimators. We are in the summer season right now and finding a spot in a contractors busy schedule is very hard! They were able to complete the project within a week from when I accepted the proposal. They did an amazing job. Sean was there for most of the work. And when he was not he checked in with me to see how everything was going. The work was completed in a timely manner. They collected all the debris and next thing I knew I had a brand new driveway! I am 100% satisfied with the work that was done. If you have a project in mind I recommend having someone from the company come out and bid."

"We've use The Art of Cleaning for almost a year. We have used other providers and have chosen to stay with this one because of the fantastic job they do. Attention to detail is there and it's more than just cleaning. You can tell that they really care to make the space they clean. They are also very accommodating to our schedule. They were also able to be flexible around the holidays for cleaning before holiday events and having people over.
The quality of work is hands down the best we have received. We will certainly continue to use the Art of Cleaning."

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

The main factors to consider when staging your home when selling are your budget, number of rooms to stage, and how long to keep the staged setup. Since home staging costs about $600 per room when using professional services, you may want to only stage the rooms that are most important to potential buyers, including the kitchen, living room, and primary bedroom. You should also consider which repairs or updates are necessary before staging your home, such as painting interior walls, carpet cleaning, and refinishing hardwood floors.

The average cost to stage a home is around $1,800, with most sellers paying between $800 and $2,800 for professional services. However, the total cost can vary significantly, ranging from $500-$600 for an initial consultation to $5,000 or more for comprehensive, full-home staging.

The final price depends on several factors, including the home's size, location, and condition, as well as the number of rooms being staged. Other key cost drivers include whether you need to rent furniture, the quality of the decor, the stager's experience, and the duration of the staging services. The scope of the project also plays a role, from virtual staging and simple decluttering to full-service design, which may involve repairs and maintenance.

The impact of a walk-in tub on home value depends on various factors, including market demand, demographic preferences, and overall home features. While some buyers may view it as a desirable accessibility feature, others might see it as a niche amenity, potentially limiting the pool of interested buyers. However, it could add value if the walk-in tub meets specific needs or enhances the property's appeal to a target demographic. Ultimately, its effect on home value varies case by case, with factors like installation quality, design, and neighborhood trends playing roles in determining its impact.

Yes, staging a home really works and can help your home sell faster, potentially for a higher price than if you did not use a home staging service. According to the National Association of Realtors, 48% of seller’s agents reported home staging decreased a home’s time on the market.

Plus, 20% of buyer’s and seller’s agents claimed home staging increased home sale prices by 1% to 5%. Although decluttering and cleaning help a home sell, staging can take your home’s curb appeal to the next level, helping to expedite the process and increase your profit.

It is generally better to stage a house than to leave it empty, as it can help the home sell faster and for a higher price. Staging helps potential buyers envision themselves living in the property. According to the National Association of Realtors, more than 75% of buyer’s agents report that staging makes it easier for buyers to build a connection with the home. Furthermore, a 2018 survey of over 4,200 professionally staged homes revealed that most sold for 6% to 25% more than their unstaged counterparts. Using a professional staging service can improve a buyer’s opinion of your house and may lead to higher offers.
