"Wesley was, first of all, very responsive and communicative. He came out to give me a bid on repairing a stone patio I had recently had installed, and which needed extensive repair. He got the bid to me very quickly, and his price was fair. The original patio had been installed incorrectly, and Wesley had to remove everything, dig down further, and correctly replace all of the stones for me, securing them appropriately and also rearranging them in a much more attractive pattern. I'm so very pleased with the result."

"lt was a large project requiring an excavator to level and fill in a pond and remove fencing as well as weeding, trimming shrubs, etc. Armando and his crew are professionals who work hard and did an excellent job in only two days. We have hired Blessed Land to do our future yard maintenance on a regular basis."

"They worked quickly and efficiently for what they were hired to do. Friendly, hard working, and professional. Beautiful when done. I would hire them again. My only complaint was taking care of plants that were removed from the garden to be put back in after new bed was built."

"Dillon is a talented operator, and very obviously dedicated to his craft. I had him level and rock my driveway to circumvent some mud/drainage issues, and he did a beautiful job. I have plans for some bigger projects in the future and will absolutely give him a call. He’s honest, thorough, fair, and does great work - highly recommend!"

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

The best snow removal tools include a snowblower or a plastic shovel since they're less likely to damage your driveway's surface. Metal shovels can crack asphalt and concrete. It's also a good idea to install driveway markers since they can make it much easier for you to identify where you should shovel without damaging the surrounding yard.

The best time to buy a snow blower is typically around May to early June. This is when most manufacturers introduce new models, and quantities are limited—once early summer rolls around, the focus shifts to lawn mower production. As the new models are released, you may find a wider selection of models, potential discounts or clearance sales on older models, and greater availability, ensuring you are well-prepared for the upcoming winter season.

Snowblowers come in three different sizes: first-, second-, and third-stage blowers. Each additional stage is larger with higher intakes, more powerful, and has more gear options.

A first-stage blower, also called a snow thrower, is usually best for snow 6 to 8 inches or below. Electric snow blowers are usually only available in this size. If you regularly get snow that’s well above six inches, consider a second-stage snow blower. If snowstorms dump 2 to 3 feet of snow repeatedly during winter, you need a third-stage snow blower to tackle it.

You can quickly melt snow on your driveway by adding rock salt, hot water, de-icer, and other melting products. These snow removal methods will quickly melt any snow on slippery ice from your driveway, making it safer to maneuver. For a more permanent solution, consider using melting mats or installing a heated driveway system.

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only remove them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a safety risk to people below. Attempting to remove icicles yourself can be dangerous, so if you are concerned about immediate damage, it is recommended to hire a professional. To prevent icicles from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, which is often poor insulation. Long-term solutions include improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.
