I value all of my customers & follow all of my projects from start to completion to ensure rigid quality standards, I believe in doing things right the first time. I generally handle projects on my own, sometimes with a helper. When I have a larger project, I have a solid network of contractors that I sub-contract with. I generally request approximately 50% down payment on most jobs for new customers, but that can vary depending on project scope, materials, etc.., remainder + tax due upon completion. At this point I accept cash or check. I estimate projects, or charge time & materials. I value communication with my customers to ensure everyone's needs are being met & we're all on the same page. I have a $200 minimum charge which covers the first 2 hours on your job, then it's $50/hr from there on. The minimum charge ensures overhead is met on any job. Crawl space & attic work incur extra charges. Welding & metal fab is billed at a higher rate, depending on the project. I guarantee all of my work & proudly stand behind my ethics & performance. You can always find someone cheaper, but why pay for something twice? Get it done by a qualified person, done right the first time.

Handyman service: we fill the gap between DIY and general contractor. Often we are able to take care of small plumbing and electrical repairs for much less than full fledged Electricians/Plumbers. We also offer accurate Home Inspections at a competitive rate.

Glass Block questions, answered by experts

Glass blocks provide privacy, natural light diffusion, insulation, and a decorative aesthetic.

Luckily, glass block windows need minimal maintenance. Other than regular cleaning, the only maintenance involved in having a glass block window is inspecting for cracks every year and applying sealer to the mortar joints if the blocks are set in masonry mortar. Glass block windows hold up well against wind and moisture better than traditional windows and are not prone to rot.

Regular cleaning with non-abrasive cleaners helps prevent buildup and maintains clarity.

If an individual block breaks, you can remove and replace it. This is a job for which you should contact a professional because the project is usually complex, involving you having to break the block further.

Heavy glass tends to be more expensive than thin glass because it is stronger and more durable. In most cases, ¼-inch-thick glass is ideal for mirrors, and ⅛-inch-thick glass is ideal for residential windows. Heavier glass isn’t always necessary, and can be more challenging to hang or install. Work with a local window installation pro for replacement or new construction windows.
