"Our house was brand new - only 1 year old. Since moving in I had been very sick with lots of ailments - nausea, light headed, constant sinus/ear infections, dizziness and vertigo. We had high end all wood floors, kitchen, etc. After many, many medical exams and tests showed no cause and the so called "experts" had no suggestions - we consulted with Bob. Luckily our air quality tests showed no mold - but showed "debris" such as VOC's, etc. from a newly built home. Since our new home was made extremely tight and energy efficient, the poor air quality could not escape on it's own. Bob "scrubbed" our air. I felt immediate improvement in my health and within a week's time - all symptoms of chronic stuffiness, dizziness and other were gone. Back to having fun and breathing well! I had no idea I was so allergic to VOC's, etc. Bob was just superb. Thank you!"

Attic and whole-house fans improve a home's energy efficiency and comfort. They ventilate hot air from the attic, which reduces peak cooling loads, lowers reliance on air conditioning, and decreases indoor temperatures. This improved air circulation and expedited heat exit helps lower cooling costs, balance moisture levels, and enhance overall natural airflow, contributing to the efficient operation of other home equipment.

Yes, barndominiums are energy-efficient as long as insulation professionals properly install quality insulation, windows, and doors. Utility bills for barndo living can be up to 50% lower than those for a traditional home.  Make your barndo more energy efficient by working with contractors and HVAC professionals to strategically place windows, doors, and heating/cooling systems.

Services by electricians can quickly get expensive, but there are a few ways you can save money in the process:

  • Bundle multiple jobs done at the same time to save on trip fees or flat fees for individual projects.

  • Get at least three quotes for service to find the best deal.

  • Buy fixtures, switches, outlets, and other materials beforehand to avoid product markup.

  • If you feel comfortable with it, have an apprentice or journeyman complete the work under the supervision of a master electrician. These electricians in training tend to charge less per project.
