"Quick to provide a quote, (same day), great price, (1 of 3 quotes), Scheduled the job when I needed it. Showed up early with a great crew and hung my 30ft x 60ft, 10 ft ceiling in a day, plastered the next. So glad I went with the blueboard and plaster. A little bit more expensive due to more labor but way better quality, mold resistance and longevity over drywall Nick is an old school, 2nd generation pro with a great work ethic and turns out quality work Recommendation without hesitation"

Small jobs welcome

"Jon was very prompt in contacting me to discuss the repairing of drywall in my condo. He even made time to come to my condo that same evening to assess the situation and give me a reasonably priced quote. Jon started repairs the very next day even though it was the day before Thanksgiving and returned to paint the day after Thanksgiving. Overall, my experience with Jon was great and I would highly recommend him to anyone!"

"Everything went much better than expected and surpassed what I had hoped. Kevin and the family are great to work with. My home has a large cathedral ceiling that now looks better than the day we moved in. Other areas needed some drywall  work, which Kevin took care of and after the painting, the results were fantastic.
The painting is even and super, they came well prepared and know their stuff and delivered quality results.

Drywall questions, answered by experts

There are a handful of reasons why your drywall anchors are breaking. Using the wrong type of anchor is the most common problem, so always make sure you’re using the best option for a particular project. That there are electrical wires or plumbing where you’ve placed an anchor or that your drywall is weak are two other possible causes.

Brick and stucco are a lot more different. You must use picture hanging clips designed for brick walls, or use a plaster rail system with adjustable hooks. Any other type of hanging hardware will cause damage to the bricks behind. You won’t be able to really use nails, either, because they’re not strong enough to go into the bricks.

A local drywall contractor can texture your drywall for you. Drywall contractors are a better choice than general handy people because the contractors have a lot of experience working with drywall mud. The process is somewhat of an art thanks to the complexity of working with the mud, so call in a drywall pro who knows what they’re doing.

You should do a little bit of sanding between adding coats of mud. Knock down any ridges or significantly imperfect areas through sanding, which should help you apply the next coat of mud smoothly. If your first coat of mud is pretty smooth after it dries, a quick sanding is all you’ll need. Don’t forget to wipe away any dust after each sanding process.

There are some instances when you can use extra drywall in your garden. Ideally, unused scraps of new drywall are best for amending soil without the concern of additional chemicals or mold. However, drywall with paint, mold, or potential asbestos requires specialized disposal by a professional and should be kept out of your garden.
