I'm a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) with 16 years of hospitality experience and a decade of executive facilities management at Vermont resorts and hotels — which means I've spent my career being accountable for pools, not just working on them. Every job I do comes with a written CPO report delivered the same day: equipment condition, water chemistry findings, and anything that needs attention before it becomes a problem. I work across all of Vermont with a focus on Stowe, Killington, and the Lake Champlain corridor, and I bring the same professional standard to a single residential opening as I do to a commercial property. Licensed, insured, and built for clients who want someone they can rely on — not just someone who's available.

"They were awesome. They are very knowledgeable. I talked to Dennis Smith the owner of the company and I know they have 40 years experience in both oil and experience. I had one the employees come and install a pool heater. We had to have the propane fixed up by somebody with a license and so they came and did the propane part of the pool heater. I was happy with the previous times I had them out so I had them out this time as well. They were very friendly and very efficient. They arrive on time and if you have any questions they are very good about explaining things. I usually have a lot of question. I never used a propane heater for the pool before and so they made me relax about using it. I didn’t want to have propane lines running with my dogs around but they made sure it was above the ground and it was installed against the wall. They made sure the heater worked before they left and they went over it with me. The person who installed never installed this brand before so he opened it up to make sure it was running right. They made sure I was relaxed and comfortable before they left and I think that is important. They are very reasonable and my mom has them come back every year."

"They sent someone out to come fix it. I go online when I have an issue, instead of calling. It is very easy. You go online and tell them what is broken. The respond with who will be coming out within 24 hours. They have different plans for different amounts of money. I have my house and pool covered. I pay a $75 copay a month. I have had them for several years, and have never had an issue."

The average cost of an above-ground pool is between $1,100 and $5,700. Costs will vary depending on the type of pool you install. The low end of the price range includes a DIY kit for around $800 and goes up to about $15,000 for a custom pool with extra features like a deck and water features. Building an above-ground pool is much faster than installing an inground one. The cost tends to be much lower for an above-ground pool than for an inground pool because there’s less labor involved, especially when it comes to excavation and running plumbing and electrical lines.
Installing an inground pool costs around $55,000, on average. The typical price range is between $39,000 and $70,000, depending on the size and type of pool and accessibility of the site. This project requires an experienced pool installation contractor as the project usually involves extensive excavation, plumbing, electrical, concrete, and careful grading of the concrete or pavers around the pool.
Adding a spa to a pool is worth it if you use it enough. Adding a built-in spa to an inground pool can cost between $15,000 and $20,000, on top of installing the pool. A separate hot tub costs between $5,000 and $8,000. These prices will vary depending on the hot tub's size, type, and features. Additional costs include maintenance, electricity, and plumbing.
From start to finish, building an inground pool takes anywhere from two to four months. Factors that impact time to completion include any weather delays, material delays or shortages, scheduling conflicts, and any unforeseen challenges. The project may take most of the pool season, depending on where you live. Because of this, it’s a good idea to start getting estimates and finding a qualified pool company at least a year before your anticipated installation. Spring and summer is the busy season for pool contractors, which impacts their availability as projects are typically booked for several weeks if not months.
