"This young man is very professional. He knows what he’s doing and does it with amazing speed. He was working alone and managed to load 2 queen size mattresses and box springs and one single mattress and box springs into his truck in record time! He even arrived early! I would highly recommend D&DElite transport .LLC"

"They cleaned my gutters, installed gutter covers, and then cleaned the exterior of the home (deck, yard, and siding). They really lived up to their name, ASAP, seeing as they were able to do all of this *the same day* that I contacted them. London and Jake were a pleasure to work with; both were very professional, friendly, and conscientious. I felt their prices were fair and I have already recommended them to one of my neighbors."

"I hired Andy and his crew to clean my windows this spring and I could not be happier. They did an outstanding job, my wife and I are extremely pleased. Great value for the service provided. I definitely be asking them to come back again when I need their services. I would highly recommend Andy and his company for their cleaning services. Very courteous and professional. "Pat came to my home - quite a way out from his location, for an estimate on a basement project. I was satisfied with the information and attention to detail he had to offer on what would need to be addressed for the project. I asked that if it was possible to please send me an estimate by Monday due to a timeline I had to make a decision by. He stated the he would try for Sunday. It's Thursday and I never did receive an estimate. I contacted the number listed on his business card, texted, emailed, and sent a message through the home advisor site, even contacted the person managing my search through Home Advisor, and no luck?! I'm not sure what happened, but I am disappointed that he never got back to me. I hired another contractor."

Concrete Disposal questions, answered by experts

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

When a dishwasher discharges its wastewater, it uses a pump to quickly move a lot of water. If anything in the drain line or the garbage disposal impedes the high volume of water, it will back up into the sink through the drain or the garbage disposal. Following regular dishwasher maintenance tips like clearing clogs, keeping them cleared, and occasionally running the disposal will eliminate the problem.

The most common garbage disposal size in the U.S. is 1/2 horsepower. This size is ideal for households with three or fewer people or those that don't produce much food waste. Although 1/2 horsepower can't handle the typical food waste load for a household of four (which is about 250 pounds of food waste annually) as effectively as 3/4 horsepower, it remains the most common size of garbage disposal on the market.

While unplugging your garbage disposal and plugging it back in may help, most units have an actual reset button, a bright red switch found on the underside of your unit. If your garbage disposal needs resetting, you may notice this button sticking out about a quarter of an inch from the surface of the unit, with which it’s usually flush. Simply depress this reset button to reset the unit, and then test to ensure it’s working about 10 minutes later.
