"Ray responded quickly and got us on his schedule quaickly. He and his helper arrived on time and ready to work. They removed some things we didn't need anymore along with a few additional items. They also helped us with moving heavy items from our UHaul to our home, very helpful."

My name is Jordan Wright, I was born and raised in Vermont, graduated high school from Brattleboro Union High school, and attend Castleton University now Vermont state University and played football there. I graduated with an undergraduate degree and a masters degree. I also currently still coach football over at the college. \n\nNow for the business! I have always had a passion for landscaping and working out doors! It wasn’t till I worked for the town of Brattleboro doing landscaping for them when I fell in love with mowing and the perfection that comes along with it! Fast forward to college I worked for a company local in Rutland! And man my love came right back! Fast forward to now! I am ready to take the big step of running my own company! Where our values are paying attention to the details, treating everyone like they are family, and leaving your lawn looking the best in the neighborhood! \nWith all that being said this marks the first step to achieving one of my goals!

"Im a realtor and use/recommend Arwood waste for junk removal/dumpsters on properties that have renovations or rental cleanup. Cheapest Ive found and has always been right on time while providing a professional service. Last time I needed junk removal was for a home we were selling where the renter destroyed the home and left it full of junk and trash. The young man for Arwood Waste showed up a little early and removed all junk from inside and out on the driveway which required two loads. I came back to inspect and was surprised to see that not only was the junk/trash removed but both inside the house and the driveway had been cleaned and swept. I did not expect that...worthy of me coming online to write a review."

Waste Removal Services questions, answered by experts

You have several options for disposing of an old dishwasher. If the appliance is still in good working condition, you can resell it on an online or local marketplace, or donate it. For an older or broken dishwasher, recycling is often the best choice. Contact your local municipality or trash company to see if they offer appliance recycling or curbside pickup services. Alternatively, you can hire a junk removal service or junk hauler to pick up the appliance and transport it to a recycling facility. If you are managing a larger cleanup project with a lot of trash, renting a dumpster may also be a viable option.

Your recycling bin may not have been picked up for several reasons. Either it is a holiday, there was a major disruption due to weather, or you placed prohibited items in the bin. Knowing what you can recycle can be a challenge from town to town, so get to know the local list when you move to a new area.

There are several options for disposing of a water softener. First, you’ll need to empty it of any water, salt, and resin, which can be thrown away in the trash in doubled-up garbage bags. Then, check with your municipal waste management department, which may have guidelines or recommendations. You may be able to put the water softener out with your garbage, or you can often recycle it. Just be sure to follow any local regulations for pickups or drop-offs.

Some scrap yards may offer you money for water softeners that have metal parts, so consider calling local facilities for quotes.

Soil is just one of the items you shouldn't put down a garbage disposal. Garbage disposals are only meant for soft, non-fibrous foods. Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes. If a small amount of dirt goes down the drain as you repot a plant, you shouldn't have to worry, but never dump a whole pot of soil in the sink for fast disposal.

To calculate how many dumpsters you need for your disposal project, take a close look at the number of items you’ll be disposing of and estimate or measure the total in cubic yards. From there, you can have the dumpster rental company inform you of their dumpsters’ capacities to determine how many you need.
