"Chris was very polite and seemed personable and professional when we interviewed him for the job. He and his helpers were on the ball about getting the project completed in an emergency situation, however on the final day of the project he said the job was completed when he and another worker installed some upper kitchen cabinets in about 3 hours, when it was actually left unfinished. His hourly rate was quoted at $35 per hour; he really didn't give us a quote for the entire project. He charged us 8 hours per person that day, as well as a number of other days, whether they were there 3 hours or 8. Also, after some demolition we discovered this project was covered by insurance and we found that his repair costs rose dramatically when he knew insurance was paying for it. He did return to finish up the trim work and cabinets when I called and complained. For these reasons we won't recommend or hire him again."

"As someone building a second home in Vt., everything needed to be done from a 235 mile distance. This can feel a little scary. My experience w/ Joe was Outstanding!!! Joe approaches all his tasks whether it be contract work or time & material work w/ the same set of ethics. Get it done in a timely fashion, be fair, communicate clearly, take regular pics, send via text for approval or comment, & offer advice through his experience as a seasoned builder. "I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."
