"Response was prompt and the estimator came out within 24 hours. I was able to get on their calendar pretty quickly due to my situation and their flexibility. They worked a weekend to install 500+ feet of fencing and gates and got the entire project done in a day. The team was professional and paid attention to all details. Great job! This was done in August 2017. We had to get them out again in October due to our sneaky dog finding his way out (not due to fencing quality) and they came out and added a bottom bar ASAP for us. Dogs are now completely safe and sound. Great experience with estimator Janie, owner Jesse, and the work crew."

Inland Building is a two man operation. We bring in subcontracted help as the size of the job requires. We charge out at 45.00 dollars per hour and normally like to work on a time and materials basis. Materials and subcontractors provided by us are marked up 20% for profit and overhead costs. We are fully insured and stand behind our work.

We do all of our own fence installations for both residential and commercial needs. 50% deposit is required to order materials and schedule installation. Balance is due on the final day of installation. Invoicing for commercial jobs is specific to each customer. If a customer adopts a dog from a local shelter and needs a fence, we offer 10% off materials and will make a $100 donation to their shelter if the fence is installed within 6 months of the adoption.

Wood is the only fence type that requires this, as concrete and metal are almost always waterproof.

To effectively keep animals out of your yard with a fence, choose a fence that anchors to the ground to deter digging. Also, consider adding a barrier below the fence to prevent burrowing. 

To make your yard less desirable to animals, eliminate food sources like a vegetable garden, and ensure your garbage cans are sealed and tamper-proof. Installing motion-activated devices like lights or sprinklers will startle animal intruders. Also, a fence won’t work well if you forget to keep gates closed and secure. If you still face persistent animal intrusion issues, contact a wildlife control expert who can offer specialized solutions.

If you decide to add a fence that will border your neighbor’s property, you should let them know in advance—but you can’t make your neighbor pay for the fence. In some locations, like California, you both might be responsible for fence repair costs or maintenance unless other documented agreements are made.
