"Ken took us through the process of buying a new a/c unit and the option of buying a furnace as well. We felt comfortable with our purchase. The installers were here all day because our utility closet is so small, but they were able to get everything in. They also found a place to put the filters and everything was left clean and tidy. Your schedule for deep cleaning will depend on how often you clean regularly and how dirty your home gets. If you clean weekly and keep things tidy, you may only need to deep clean once a year. A commercially available calcium, lime, and rust remover is a good solution for stubborn buildup or stains.

In between deep cleanings, you really only need to clean the filter, the drum, and the door. Run a sanitization cycle and then wipe down the exterior of the machine. You can skip cleaning the drain hose and the detergent tray, as these steps only need to happen once or twice a year, depending on how often you use your washing machine.
