"The crew from Upgrade Remodeling did an excellent job in transforming an aging outdated bathroom into a modern fully functional bathroom. The work they complete was a total transformation of our bathroom. This included turning the bathtub into a beautiful walk-in shower, a new vanity with much more room than the original, a new toilet, new mirror, stylish light, new towel racks, and a new floor. The work also included complete removal of very ugly 70s green wall tile and complete paint job including ceiling. All this in two days. The crew also provided shielding from dirt and dust. When the crew left you could not tell they had been here except for a beautiful new bathroom."

"Owner/operator John Rife is a top notch contractor who employs first rate employees to get the job done. In my basement, I had a concrete slab floor and two old, drafty windows that needed replacement. I wanted him to put down a nice Cali Bamboo floor and add new Anderson windows. When he came to give his initial estimate, we talked at length about what the job entailed. He answered my questions, however ridiculous, with a direct honesty that was refreshing. John gave me the price estimate that was fair: not as high as other contractors with whom I spoke but not as low as others either. What made him our pick was that I felt that based on our conversations, I could trust him to do the job on time and on budget. I am happy to say that not only was the job done on time, the price did not go up along the way. How often does that happen? In two days, John's employees, Chris and Edward, worked diligently to get the job done. They must have done more than a few jobs together because, except for the occasional work related banter, they hardly spoke. They would arrive at 8am and leave by 4pm and work for the entire time. If not for the intermittent sound of a power saw, I would scarcely have known they were down there at all. When on the second day their work was done, they packed up and left without me having thanked them for a job well done. If you are reading this Chris and Edward, you did great. Thanks! "Robert called when he was enroute and arrived early. Hired him as an electrician for the day. During the day he replaced 2 ceiling fans and replaced 5 outside lights on the porch, garage, and back porch. He replaced a fuse for the ceiling fan, and changed out the front doorbell switch after trouble shooting it. He replaced a smoke detector and he replaced two light fixtures in our bathrooms. After completing all electrical work early, he gladly changed out a faucet in the powder room, and put up new 3-piece bathroom fixtures in all three bathrooms. All in a day's work. Robert was very professional the entire period and only stopped work after his 7 hours were up. Would gladly recommend his proficient and professional service. Terry Reid (Col USMC retired)"

"Arrived on 5/29/2014 to check bathroom fan that was not working.  Took it to find a replacement.  Same day, fixed a garbage disposal.  Came back next day with a new motor.  Also took shoes off before walking on the carpet.  Also gave specific time rather than a window."

"Overall a disappointing experience. Jill is really nice on email and asks all the right questions-we sent pics of our room from all angles, specific measurements and actual blueprints of the room for her to use in her design. She is good about asking what style you like, and really seems to love what she does. That said, the turnaround time for this was crazy-I didnt get the finalized concept board until April 4 2012. To be fair there was lag time when I was searching for blueprints for her-and she apologized many times for the delays due to the response of the Angies List promotion.
It would have been worth it if the concepts/furnishings she provided wowed me, but we haven't used a single thing that she suggested despite lots of time spent telling her what styles etc we wanted, and she didnt completely address a couple of my primary concerns which were how to utilize the deep shelf space in the room and lighten up the overal area. I got some good ideas from Jill, and I love that her concept ideas come in an email with click through links to the furnishings/colors she suggests-quick satisfaction there!  I am disappointed in this experience overall, and glad it was not a "full price" disappointment.
