"Overall very well, but did find a couple of small minor caulk spots (window sill, piece of furniture) and had to ask for vinyl shavings be shop vac'd on back deck. Windows working beautifully, much less noise."

"The project appeared to go well in the beginning. On the last day of the work I noticed the floor was not stable at all. When I walked on the bathroom floor it was apparent the base was unstable. The floor mad a creaking noise each time I stepped. At first the contractor said he didn't notice the problem. I also pointed how the grout had cracks. After the Resident Handyman acknowledged the problem. He attempted to repair the problem of the unstable floor but it didn't work. He fixed the grout line and told me to wait for it to dry. Upon waiting for the grout to dry the floor cracked at the same grout joint each time. He returned to the house about three times attempting to fix the problem. I could see the problem was not the grout it was base. Since the base was unstable it didn't matter how much he tried to fix the grout line. On his third attempt the grout line looked as though it was stable and that lasted about 10 months. The grout line has started to crack again in that same spot on the bathroom floor. I reached out to the Handy Man again and said he will have to charge me now since it has been over a year. The job was never done right the first time. That's why I will not recommend this guy to fix anything again.show more

"Needed to replace two windows in my bedroom and be compliant with my HOA , Todd Stevens came to my home, this guy is extremely knowledgeable regarding any and all aspects of window replacement. This guy couldn't have been more helpful, truly if more contractors acted like him the industry wouldn't need a website like this to make them honest! I will say they are pricey but the quality and professionalism is worth it. "I had to force myself not to write a review until the end of our project. We had been looking for a qualified contractor for four years to redo our 104 year old foursquare. From the moment I called and spoke with Dave's wife, who runs the office, I was impressed. Carrie was very informative and courteous. Dave contacted me that same day and came for a quote promptly. After walking the property and discussing options and materials we had decided to go with Dave pretty quickly. Dave began that same week and brought Adam with him who was very professional and responsive. I can not express how hard they worked to prep our home after years of weather and age. That was a lot of work! Dave and his small crew of one, worked like they had a team with them. They were on time every morning, excited and ready to go. They caulked, scraped and sanded areas that looked, when finished, like brand new boards. The painting was very clean and the lines were sharp. Dave with the help of his chosen trusted professionals he works with turned our vision into reality. We could not be more pleased and would tell anyone to use Dave if they are considering interior or exterior painting.
