Our experience with Expertise Painting was by far the best experience we have ever had with any contractor we have hired. Dan was quick to respond to my email for a quote.  He showed up on time for the appointment, and was both professional and personable.

This was a large and complex job.  We have vaulted ceilings up to 14 feet, wood stained moldings and a lot of fragile antiques that had to be moved several times to complete the job. There was extensive drywall repairs due to earthquake and settling and some old electronic outlets we wanted to omit.  There were a total of 3 colors which required precise straight lines where there was a color change.  Because we have custom milled & stained woodwork, all the cutting in had to be done by hand, then later taped to avoid paint specks. 

Dan and his assistant Jay take great pride in their work as if it was their own home. They used extreme care in preparation, protection, and clean up.  Dan did a lot of extras that I didn't expect, but he thought they should be done. Even though these are the rooms we live in most of the time, we were hardly inconvenienced during the job.  They always showed up daily on time and worked tirelessly and cheerfully with hardly a break.

By the time the job was complete, even though I couldn't wait to get my home back to normal, I was almost sorry to see them go. They were a joy to be around.  I know my dog Maggie misses them, they were her new buddies.  Even took her outside when I was at work. We were so appreciative of all their extra efforts, we wanted to treat them to a nice lunch at a local restaurant on the last day.  Then when I left to run errands,  they returned from lunch with a thank you card, wine & dog treats!   Just darn good people!

Without any hesitation, I highly recommend Expertise Painting for a high quality job, professional work ethic, and just a real pleasure.  I know I don't have to shop painters any more, I found the best and I look forward to contacting him a gain with future projects.
