"We got a prompt response from Providence for the replacement of our grinder pump in our basement. Ryan called me and told me that it was a specialty part and that the repair was gonna cost around $1500. Ryan got the pump and installed it in an hour and a half and only charged $1300. He was a total pro. He is a total pro! I would recommend this company to anybody who wants prompt and professional service."
"I was very happy with the services provided by this company. Discovered a slow water leak in the basement in the morning, and Roto-Rooter arrived that afternoon to fix it. The technician, Warren, was friendly, courteous and efficient, and took the time to carefully explain the problem and recommended fix to me. The administrative staff followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was handled to our satisfaction. I will definitely call Roto-Rooter in the future and will recommend to my neighbors. "
"Good people to work with, professional in every way. Normally when we received 2" of rain water would start entering the basement. When we receive 3" the basement floor would be covered. Two days after installing their system our area received 8.5" of rain and our basement remained dry, not a drop got in the house. These guys know what they are doing."
"One of the hardest workers. He is very honest, and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend. He saved us thousands from what another company wanted to charge for unnecessary work. Going on 4years since he finished his waterproofing and mold removal,we have had record rains and no leaks and no mold. Only dry basement on the block."

"The technicians arrived at my house and immediately went to work. One technician cleaned the dryer vent while the other two inspected the chimney. The technician who cleaned out the dryer vent went into the basement to inspect the dryer vent in the basement before he started. That process took about 10 minutes. He showed me the bag of lint that he removed from the dryer vent. He acutally took out quit a bit of lint. The other technicians came in to tell me that they found no cracks in the chimney and offered to spray the sealant into the chimney. The gave me a quote ahead of time and told me they could preform the service right away so that I didn't need to make another apointment. That whole process took about 45 minutes. I was impressed with the professionalism of the technicians.

A crawl space is an area under the house that provides access to plumbing, electrical, heating ducts, and other HVAC units. Its purpose is to create a buffer between the ground and the living area, helping with ventilation, moisture control, and access for maintenance or repairs. Crawl spaces are most often seen in houses in North America which are built on concrete foundations versus other parts of the world where buildings are constructed differently.
Mold and other fungi love moisture, so the best way to prevent mold growth after water damage is to remove as much moisture as possible. First, find the source of the water or moisture, such as a leak or clogged gutters, and correct the problem. Next, remove standing water, vacuum up puddles with a shop vacuum, and run blower fans and dehumidifiers for 24 to 72 hours. Once you've removed all traces of moisture, disinfect the area using either vinegar or bleach to kill any remaining mold spores.
The cost of basement waterproofing is $4,950 for the average homeowner. However, you could end up paying between $600 and $14,000, depending on factors like basement size, waterproofing method, and the region you live in.
If you live in an area with heavy rainfall, you might be paying more for waterproofing than if you lived somewhere drier since waterproofing contractors would be in high demand. Likewise, a 500-foot basement costs between $2,500and $5,000 to waterproof, but that price rises significantly for a larger basement.
