"Pleasant to deal with. They cleaned up the trimmings well (from shrub trimming) and hauled them off. Price seemed a bit expensive, but I have never had to hire someone to do that job before, so it may be the going rate."

"Jeff was great at communicating schedule and followed through. He cleaned the gutters and soffits taking great care not to spray my front door or my patio furniture. Would recommend him for this service."

"I was feeling completely overwhelmed by my house and decided to treat myself to a one-time deep clean. I am so glad I picked Conquest Legacy because they completely knocked it out of the park! The crew arrived right on time and they were honestly the nicest people ever. They were so friendly, super respectful of my space, and worked absolute magic on my home. I thought my place was just "a little dusty," but they found spots I didn't even know could collect dirt. They got into all the weird corners, scrubbed the baseboards, and left my kitchen and bathrooms absolutely glowing. If you need a serious house refresh and want to work with awesome, down-to-earth people, do yourself a favor and book them. I?ll definitely be calling them again!"

"Steve Ray and crew moved four 700-800 lb. service station pumps to a new location for me without scratching or denting them. They have good equipment for moving jobs of various types. I would hire them again."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

There are many different cleaning services available to tidy up and take care of specific cleaning tasks, you may not want to tackle yourself. That allows you to mix-and-match DIY with professional services to get the deep clean you want..

If you’re looking for someone to organize your stuff, you can hire for that, too. For an average of $526, professional organizers can tackle closets, attics, garages, and more, which could be helpful if you’re making major home changes.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

To clean a trash can with maggots, combine chlorine bleach and hot water in a 1-to-1 ratio and pour about half a gallon of the solution into the bottom of your garbage can. Just make sure there aren’t holes in the can before doing so. Close the lid, and let the fumes go to work to kill the maggots. Rinse the can with a hose outside. Consider finishing up with a bleach disinfectant and a scrub brush before letting the can dry completely. You can also consider hiring an exterminator near you for a quick, easy solution to maggots in your garbage cans.

Cleaning your trash cans lightly once per week and then disinfecting and doing a deep clean at least once per month is the best way to prevent trash can odors. You can also invest in some garbage can deodorizers to combat odors or lay down a dryer sheet or a thin layer of baking soda in the bottom of the can under the bag. Replace the deodorizer once every month or every other month, depending on how well it works over time.

The most sanitary way to mop a floor is with a microfiber mop and two buckets of water: one with cleaning solution and one without. Use the soapy water to mop the floor and rinse the mop in the clean water. When the water gets dirty, pour it out and replace it with new water. This mopping technique ensures the mop stays cleaner and prevents the spread of dirt and bacteria.
