We are locally opened and operated company. We are a full service company with all in-house employees. We set a industry standard first with a full 3 year warranty on all work contracted jobs. We are a licensed Va Class A contractor with the highest certificate offered through the state board of regulations.

"My understanding is that Tri Arc is the only subcontractor that Home Depot uses for kitchen renovations in the Richmond area and I certainly hope that Home Depot changes that soon. Our experience was a disaster and I will never sign a contract that has Tri Arc performing the work again. All-in, our kitchen remodel to install new cabinets and countertops took about 6 months as compared to the 1-2 month estimate that was originally provided by Home Depot. Not having a fully functioning kitchen in our house for 6 months was a royal pain and I'm so glad to done with this. We did our kitchen demolition ourselves to save a couple thousand dollars to do a job that took my wife and I about 2 hours. Tri Arc started the cabinet installation in November 2017 and it was all downhill from there. It started with the installer cracking the top of every single upper cabinet because a pilot hole was not drilled before installing the trim. The installer tried to cover those flaws up without telling us by covering them with putty and touch-up paint - both for cracks and holes (where a new drill hole was required because the crack was so bad). We did not notice the flaws originally until the representative from the granite countertop provider pointed out all the issues when he measured for our countertops the next day (we're thankful for him). From there, things got disastrous. Home Depot ordered replacement cabinets, which were unfortunately the wrong size - so about a month of the delay was on Home Depot as we had to wait for a second complete re-order. During the time from the initial poor installation to the job conclusion, I think I lost count of the number of ridiculous excuses as to why Tri Arc didn't show up on the job when they said they would, either late or not coming at all without notice (my wife or I taking off of work to be there). It was so unbelievable that we had to show the Home Depot manager the stream of text message excuses to prove that we weren't exaggerating. In the end, the work got done and I couldn't be happier that they're gone. Our only saving grace is that Home Depot stepped in the middle to provide some relief here, so kudos to them for acknowledging the fault of their subcontractor and trying to make things right."

Sunrooms and Patios questions, answered by experts

Screened-in porches add value to your home, and you can expect an ROI of up to 70% to 80% if you live in a moderate or warm climate. In colder areas, potential buyers won’t see as much value in the home addition since the unconditioned space will be unusable for much of the year. The quality and size of the screened-in porch will also affect the return you’ll see.

Increases living space and adds value to the home through enhanced utility.

Yes, sunrooms often add some value to a home, but the amount will depend on the design of the sunroom itself. Fully insulated four-season sunrooms, for example, include enough protection from changing weather that they will be included in the total size of the home and will contribute to value accordingly. Something like an Arizona room or a solarium will also boost home value in most cases, but you’ll see a much lower return as they don’t contribute to legal living space.

A lanai is a covered patio with open walls, while a Florida room has sides made of mesh screens or windows, with or without partial low walls. In addition, lanais often use concrete or other patio flooring, while Florida rooms may have more indoor-style flooring like tile or wood. Both allow you to enjoy the outdoors without being in the direct sun, but a lanai doesn’t offer any barrier against insects or debris.

A professional can design and construct sunrooms or patio enclosures that meet structural standards, optimize environmental conditions, and integrate seamlessly with existing architecture. This ensures the project enhances home value and provides long-term enjoyment.
