"While replacing the battery in a wired smoke detector, we realized our unit was more than 10 years old and needed replacement. We then found there was no power at the receptacle. We contacted Mr. Puckett and explained our concern about the safety system. He set up an appointment for that afternoon. He and his assistant, Andrew, arrived on time, inspected the wiring and determined that the system did indeed have no power. He tested all the wired smoke detectors and reviewed the inspection panel. He noticed that the circuit breaker for the smoke detectors had never been connected by the electrician that originally installed the units. He connected the circuit breaker, installed our new smoke detectors and tested the whole system. They were both courteous and professional. They explained what happened and what they were doing clearly. The whole process took about a half-hour. If we need any more electrical work done, I would not hesitate to call on Mr. Puckett again.
